The Victoria GAZETTE |
To the Editor: Just received the April Gazette and I must applaud your good photogenic eye. The front page photo of Al and your son in law, Chris, on Marco Island could have a dozen titles or captions. Beautiful! It's a sight that prompts the locals to say, "Let's spot the tourist." I visualize an element of Norman Rockwell. Perhaps those Vikings are discussing the concept of "hot" on the first day of spring. Stan Hamerski Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Hi, Sue. Loved the spread in the April VG regarding your time in Marco. Great pictures. Makes me want to just hug those kids. I bet Gunnar's eyes were big as saucers when Chris caught the shark. I'm impressed that you could hold the gator. Wouldn't be me. I can just hear Addie making fun of me now. I am wondering if I could get another paper, so I could keep it at the cabin. Robin Kelleher Burnsville, Minnesota
To the Editor: Hi, Mom. Wow. Your pictures of Marco Island are awesome! We'll use some of the pictures for Gunnar's "family picture board" for his school project. Jenny Norgaard Tioga, Norgaard
To the Editor: Hi, Sue. I enjoyed reading about your trip to Marco Island. I also noticed you in the 30 Years Ago column, collecting sap for maple syrup. What's happened to all that time! I've never looked before, but with the help of Kathy I found the fishhook on page 10 in the Dungey Menser dental ad. The whole process was driving me nuts, but we are in the search mode since we're watching Baby George, Ed's two-year old. You certainly do not have to award us the $10. I just thought you would get a kick out of a note from your old neighbor. John Oertel Stillwater, Minnesota
To the Editor: The Gazette looks great. I had a chance to look at it. Nice photos. Thank you for being so positive toward Westview Acres. Your stories are always so uplifting and enjoyable to read. Rebecca Bollig Campus Administrator, GSS & WA Waconia, Minnesota
To the Editor: I just made my semi-weekly trip to the mailbox and fetched the Gazette. That shark on the front page is amazing. Good thing it was someone strong who pulled it in. Welcome back to the frigid north with its endless winter and April snowflakes. Christine Determan Chanhassen, Minnesota
