Family Cabin Supreme by Chuck Freiberg, Up North Cabin Guy. “The 18 of us spent time as a family group, fishing, golfing, swimming, biking, boating, canoeing, eating, sitting around th campfire, painting rocks, playing cribbage and dominoes.”

At the Sunset Fest by Sue Orsen. “Meteorologists gave a 70% chance of rain, but it didn’t rain.  Some people called it a miracle.  The outdoor festivities at St. Victoria went off without a hitch.”

For Veterans and Firefighters by Randy Maluchnik, Carver County Commissioner.  “Two initiatives illustrate Carver County’s commitment to those who protect us.  We are helping firefighters stay safe on the job and veterans find employment.”

St. Victora’s Got Talent by Sue Orsen. “There were 15 performances at the Live Talent Show.  Proceeds went to Sharing and Caring Hands.”

Lake Virginia Park by Sue Orsen. “It hasn’t been used by the public as a recreational park since September of 2007.  But new park construction should be completed by the summer of 2013.”
