To the Editor:

Reading the latest issue of the paper made one feel they were on the trip out west with you.  Your narratives are so complete and detailed.  I share your publication with friends in Florida, Arizona, and Oregon.  I had to copy the photo of Bev Naab, who is 88 and shot 88 last month at Island View.   Bev is a longtime friend since 1973 and, yes, I could never beat her, an exceptional competitor.  I sent Bev an early Christmas card with her picture in it plus a coupon for a free celebration drink at Floyd's.

         Your friend since 2000.

To the Editor:

We love the Victoria Gazette and have been longtime residents of Victoria in Deer Run.  We winter in Naples, Florida, and would love to stay connected.  If there is an additional charge for mailing the paper to Naples I would be happy to add to the subscription cost.  Thanks, Sue.

To the Editor:

Hi, Sue.  So enjoyed reading about your trip out west.  My angel and I visited some of those beautiful parks and mountains years ago.  Fun to revisit them as you described their beauty.  Lucky finding the fishhook on page 26 on the scarecrow.  Happy Autumn.  Love those leaves!

To the Editor:

Hi, Sue.  On this beautiful crisp "cerulean" day as the leaves are starting to fall, I just had to write and say how we love your continued wonderful stories and news in the Gazette.  Dear Germaine Jesberg was a friend to many, many people, including me as we met for our prayer gatherings here many a day.  The St. Victoria School history from Roger Diethelm last month, I didn't realize.  We came in 1963 so missed all the fun potty stops on Church Hill.

It takes me forever to read all your stories, but Dave does it in a day.  I think I may have found the fishhook (If I don't find it the first time through, I tend to give up) on the Scarecrow Tour ad on the scarecrow's shoulder.

Lois Boll's obit was informative, as we remember her well.   So friendly and Artie, their son, helped our young David with his math after school from St. Victoria.  All those shirts to iron for uniforms!  Many a memory.

God is so good.  Thanks, Sue.  We don't tell you often enough.

To the Editor:

Enclosed is my check in the amount of $25 to renew my subscription to the Gazette.  As always, I continue to enjoy it.

Some issues ago, in your August paper, you editorialized your views about abortion and the sale of baby body parts.  What is happening to our country!  Now it's okay in our society to not only kill the babies because the birth of a child may be inconvenient, but also okay to sell their body parts for profit.  Surely one day God will deal with us for this horrible sin, or He is already, given all the problems we are seeing in this country and the world.

Consider this.  We may have already murdered the person, or persons, who might have discovered the cure for cancer, diabetes, Parkinson's, and countless other diseases.  In less than year we will be going to the voting booth in a national election.  Each of us must not forget that our votes do matter.
