Victoria Gazette - Hook Line & Sinker Column

When little Faith Gabriel came to my door a few weeks ago and handed me a sealed envelope, I knew exactly what was inside. It was her entry for this monthly drawing wherein she was pointing out the location of the fishhook hidden in the October issue of the Gazette. Close neighbors don't need the Post Office or even email when they can just walk across the street.

I told Faith that I didn't know where I hid the fishhook last month until I started hearing from people. I usually make a note of which page it's on for that very reason, but last month I didn't. As you can see, it was located in the arrow that is part of a Best Cleaner's ad about Free Pickup and Delivery. It was on page 17. And when I dipped into the minnow bucket of entries, Faith swam directly into my hand to win the $10. Congratulations, neighbor girl.
