Text Box: Hook Line & Sinker

The part time fisherman in our family has continued to be a part time fisherman, floating from Lake Zumbra to Schutz Lake to Lake Auburn, snagging a few sunnies here and there, but we haven't eaten any yet.  I'm saving them like jewels in a treasure chest, except these treasures are in a freezer chest.  I can eat at least a couple dozen sunnies (that's 48 filets) all by myself and I like to have my fill of sunnies if possible.  Sounds gluttonous, I know.  Sorry.  I'll be sure to abstain on the following day and then go to confession:)

On the serious side, this month's Hook Line & Sinker treasure was won by Cortney Beckman of Chanhassen.  Cortney found the fishhook right where I hung it, over the letter 'f' in the Volksfest ad on page 21 last month.  The $10 prize money will be on its way shortly!

There's another fishhook hidden in this issue of the Gazette and it's looking to be found, just like all those other fishhooks over all these years of hiding in the Gazette.  If you find it, drop a line to P.O. Box 387, Victoria, MN 55386, telling where you found it and sinker in the mail or use Sue@VictoriaGazette.com.

If and when we ever get to eat those fresh frozen sunny filets, you know that I'll let you know.  And so far I have no inclination to share them with anyone else.  Sounds greedy, I know.  Sorry.  I'll be sure to share other good things, however.
