Dedicated to the sunshine of truth,

the moonshine of meeting deadlines,

and the starshine of Victoria.

To the Editor:

Thanks for bringing such joy and happiness into my house each month.  The Victoria Gazette is the best.  Hugs.

         Cynnie Harris

         Victoria, Minnesota

To the Editor:

After more than 28 years of distinguished service, Carol Lindner is retired from Catholic United Financial effective March 1st, 2014.  While we are sad to see Carol go, we are very happy for her and wish her many more years of health and happiness.  Carol leaves Catholic United as one of our very best ever.  She has created a tradition of service excellence to Catholic United members and the Catholic community.

Carol and her husband Ron are not moving from Mayer, Minnesota.  They will still be around.  Good luck, Carol.  And to you, our loyal members, thanks for accepting Carol and Catholic United into your home and family.

To continue Carol's tradition of service excellence, we are pleased to introduce Carol's friend and long time Catholic United Sales Representative, Peter Ryan, as your new servicing representative.  Peter lives in Wright County, knows Carol well, and has partnered with Carol on many different Catholic United activities and fundraisers.

To the Editor:

Still love the Gazette, especially the March issue with regard to the Oil Patch.  Love to read about and see pictures of my Tioga family.  Here is my subscription for another year.  Please keep it coming.  Thank you.

         Linda Barcus

         Bemidji, Minnesota

To the Editor:

The Gazette arrived yesterday and I was fascinated by the story of the "Oil Patch."  A production of one million barrels daily?  I was stunned and, of course, delighted.

This morning my mind returned to the "Oil Patch."  I could not believe what I had read yesterday:  a million barrels of oil daily?  But the Gazette did not back down.  It stood right there, looked me in the eye, and said, "Yes, one million a day!"

This thrills me.  It shows emphatically, unambiguously, and unabashedly what the ordinary citizen can do when government keeps its nose out of the industry.  God bless the "Oil Patch."

I have a pad of sheets like the one on which I'm typing, placed at my door by an anonymous friar.  I'll try to use them more often in days to come.  In the meantime, my best and my love to both you and Allan.  Keep me on the mailing list, forever.

         Father Bernardine Hahn, OFM

         St. Louis, Missouri

To the Editor:

Keep up the good work, Sue.  We enjoy your newspaper, which is much like a magazine.  You two need a break.  Make a run to Stillwater.  Blessings to you and yours.

         Kathy and John Oertle

         Stillwater, Minnesota

To the Editor:

Interesting story on "The Oil Patch."  I graduated from Crosby High School in North Dakota in 1958.  I have followed the Williston Basin events since the big natural gas blowout three miles south of Crosby in 1953 to this blowout in Tioga.  I receive the weekly Divide County Journal.  You did a better job on the blowout!

         Victoria, Minnesota

To the Editor:

Hi, Sue.  Here is my check for the Gazette.  I love getting your paper every month.  It keeps me informed of what's happening in Victoria, my old stomping ground.  Keep up the good work.

         Diane Pfarr

         LeSueur, Minnesota

To the Editor:

         You do a great job.

         Bob Ayotte

         Chanhassen, Minnesota
