*Said Don Uram on August 10th, “We had a fire Saturday night at Rolling Bluff, toward Hwy 7, at 2:30 a.m. The timing was unbelievable. The call came in at 2:30:15 and Tim was there at 2:30:30. There is, like, 15 seconds to get to the scene because he was out patrolling the streets due to the rain. There’s not a lot left of the residence. It was a lightning strike. The team functioned as it was supposed to. My understanding is that the residents were not home.” *Said Councilmember Kim Roden on August 10th, “The lake went up a foot in front of my home. It was a significant rain event.” *Council approved the Financial Advisory Service Agreement with Northland Securities whereby the firm will receive the sum of $15,400 for the proposed sale by the city of $2,835,000 in general obligation bonds to pay for the ‘09 city street and utility improvement projects. |
