Kade Robert. Lindsay Schullo and Bryon Juliar of North Mankato proudly announce the birth of their son Kade Robert Juliar who was born at 4:03 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11th, 2009, at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia. Kade weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. and was 20 inches long. Grandparents are Paul and Laura Schullo of Victoria and Jerome and Brenda Juliar of Mapleton.

Iyla Ann Paulson. Andy and Rachel Paulson of Shakopee proudly announce the birth of their daughter Iyla Ann who was born at 2:01 on Wednesday, August 5th, 2009, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee. Iyla weighed 7 lbs. and was 20.5 inches long. Grandparents are Ken and Meg Paulsen of LeSueur, Paul and Laura Schullo of Victoria, and Craig Bryan of Spirit Lake, Iowa.

KleinBank Diamondbacks took Babe Ruth 13s Title, which is 1st Place for 13-year olds in the Chaska Babe Ruth Prep League. In an exciting title game played at Chaska Athletic Park, the Kleinbank Diamondbacks defeated the ValleySports Twins of Chaska by a score of 9-8. The Diamondbacks accumulated an overall record of 20-8 this season.
