Letters Continued

To the Editor:

I would like to give a very big Thank You to Roger Narkie, Tim and Judy Forcier, and Jay Sondergaard for the generous use of their parking lot for the Bayfront Art Fair artists.  All of the artists were so grateful to have such a short walk to their cars during the Volkfest.  We received many thank you’s from all of them for such a well planned event.  This would not have been possible without them.  Thanks again.

Hi, Sue.  It’s me again.  The fishhook is on page 10 in that beautiful bracelet.  I will be stopping at Weinzierl’s on Saturday.

To the Editor:

Thank you for getting your story and photos on the 2009 Victoria Volksfest to press and on the street in such a timely manner.  Loved it.  I’ve been a fan of the Gazette since we moved to town in 1986.  Keep up the great work.

To the Editor:

I was just exploring the Victoria Gazette, looking for notices of foreclosures and stumbled upon photos of Nancy and Steve at Ghent and realized you must be related to them.  I worked with their Sonya for many years and my parents know them well.  So then I asked my mom if she knew you and she said that Orsens grew up right next to her on the farm down by Hansen’s and Dalager’s at Minneota.  What a small world.

My husband and I are looking to get out of the “city” and move to Victoria.  We have friends that live there and we have a daughter that we want to be in a small town and good school when she goes in a couple years.

We have spent many hours and days driving around looking at neighborhoods, and the one thing we notice every time we go to Victoria is all the kids outside and all the people are so friendly.  No matter what street we are on, everyone waves to us.  For this reason we are only interested in moving to Victoria.

The Sheriff’s Office told us to get in touch with the local newspaper.  Any foreclosures in Victoria?  Thanks in advance for your time.

To the Editor:

Hi, Sue.  In regard to your question, just remember this, a volleyball is all white and they use their hands, while the soccer ball is black and white and they use their feet.  If you ever have any other sports questions or pictures you need deciphered, just give me a buzz.  Thanks for coming to our Re-Grand Opening at the Victoria Recreation Center.  Have a great day.
