REST IN PEACE, JEAN AMRHEIN.  This is a photo of our Tuffy's Volleyball team from Victoria.  We played at Austin in the State Volleyball Tournament in April 1981, exactly 33 years ago.  I don't remember how we did there, but I know we had fun.  Jean Amhrein of Chaska, age 63, passed away on Sunday, April 20th, 2014.  Her funeral arrangements were in the Star Tribune.  RIP, Jean.

HANNAH SCHMID.  Hannah's mom Kathy brought her into the bank and Hannah wanted to go around outside the bank and pick up garbage for Earth Day.  We thought it was so sweet that a 6-year old would recognize Earth Day.  Hannah's mom and dad are Rick and Kathy Schmid of Victoria.

RARE SITE IN VICTORIA.  A rare site was witnessed on Lake Virginia on Saturday, April 19th, 2014, as I witnessed over 100 American White Pelicans spending the night in Victoria, Minnesota, before their journey to Canada.  They were huge.  They looked like small sailboats.  Also, out of the picture, were four loons patiently waiting for ice-out on Lake Minneteonka.
