Some people choose fishing, some golfing, some boating.  Others choose reading, mowing the lawn, watching television, picking up around the house.  You might pick shopping, dining out, or dining in. When you choose a little R and R for yourself, where do you turn?  I like to spend as much time as possible with my children and grandchildren.

When I was at Mia's 1st birthday party a couple weeks ago, our son Nick's home was packed with people, both friends and family, and I most enjoyed holding Mia feeding her, rocking her, listening to her laugh, and also trying to catch Sophie, a little social butterfly.

When I was at Addie's First Communion three weeks ago already, our daughter Jenny's home was full of joy, including four generations, and I most enjoyed taking all of it in, from one moment to the next, until Addie and Gunnar waved goodbye from the school bus Monday morning.

When this time of the month rolls around, I enjoy hiding the fishhook in the latest edition of the Gazette, the one you're holding in your hands.  And then I wait for you to send in your entries for the drawing, telling me at the same time just where you found the fishhook.

Last month it was hidden in the rabbit ears of the little fellow on page 16.  Not so many of you checked out the photographs to find that fishhook and so you missed it.  Every now and then, when I spot the perfect hiding place in a photograph, I will be hiding it there so now you are forewarned a second time!

When I dipped into the minnow bucket, I pulled out Ron Wagener of Waconia Ford.  Hey, Ron, didn't I buy my white truck from you?  You win the ten bucks!  There's another fishhook hidden in this issue of the Gazette.  If you find it, email Sue@VictoriaGazette.com or use P.O. Box 387 and sinker in the mail, telling of it location.  Then I'll put you in the minnow bucket for next month's drawing.  When that time rolls around again, maybe I'll choose you and maybe I won't.  Depends on chance, not choice.  And now it's time for a little R&R.
