Victoria Moments Continued

Gordon and Linda Kirsch Davis of Victoria performed at the USA Dance National DanceSport Championships held at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel across from the Baltimore Inner Habor.  This competition was a full three-day event starting at 8:00 a.m. and going until midnight.  The Davis’ have been dancing and competing at the championship level for twelve years.  Their goal from the beginning, twelve years ago, was to dance in the final and someday take the national championship.  For the third consecutive year, they managed to perform at a high standard in front of nine World Class judges to remain champions.

Happy 50th.  Family and friends are invited to stop by Harvey’s Bar in Carver on Saturday, June 6th, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. to congratulate Jerry and Nancy Schneider on their 50th wedding anniversary and wish Jerry a happy 75th birthday.  Happy anniversary, Mom and Dad, and happy birthday, Dad.

Meghan and Me.  On a more personal note, I am also including a picture of my granddaughter Meghan Marie Pierson who graduated with honors on May 17th with a degree in Journalism from the University of Minnesota.  My hope is that she develops the talent and love of stories and words as much as you do, Sue.  The old guy with her is her 80-year old very proud grandfather.

         Most sincerely,
