We've been invited to go ice fishing in January -- on a lake, in a fish house with bunk beds and kitchen facilities and a hole in the ice, with a heater, for an overnight. I wonder if we'll go. It didn't work out last year because of global warming, or something like that. There was water above the ice and that's not the way it's supposed to be when you spend heavy time on the ice. If we go, I'll tell you about it. I'm interested in the experience but not necessarily the fishing nor the roughing aspect. I'm a home or hotel type person with hot running water and king size bed. I'm happy getting my walleye from a menu. Actually, I hardly ever order fish from a menu. My red blood seems to require more red blood.

And I'm happy swirling around in a minnow bucket for the winner of this little drawing. Last month the fishhook was hidden in the bottom trim of Santa's suit in the KleinBank ad on page 6 and I found Marlaine Gnan of Norwood Young America bobbing up to the surface for air. The $10 prize will be on its way soon and very soon.
