 . . and PEACE

In 2007 Victoria families lived in the peace and freedom that is the heritage of a Christian culture humbly lived.  There were no car bombs in Victoria, no suicide terrorists, no mass killings and no mass graves, no torture chambers, and no reports of chemical weapons of mass destruction.

Residents of Victoria walked their streets and trails without fear of being attacked.  They freely worked and worshipped, freely played in parks and backyards, freely communicated with neighbors and people around the world, freely spoke the truth as they know it exists.  Such freedoms result in peace to men and women of goodwill.

Victoria residents were helpful and generous to people in need of support for both spirit and body, assisting with meals on wheels, contributing to the local food shelf as well as to those around the world suffering the effects of tsunamis and fires and floods.  Such love and compassion result in peace to men and women of goodwill.

Victoria residents respected the rights of others.  Such respect brings order to a community, and order brings peace.  Happy New Year, one and all.  Peace to you and your families.
