PROMOTING SHOP LOCAL.

Here is a picture I took of the folks out in front of Victoria's Market on Saturday, July 25th.    It was a great show of support.  Seeing the residents of Victoria taking a stand for shopping locally and Supporting local businesses just shows what a strong community Victoria is.  I can't express how humbled and thankful I am for this outpouring of support.  Thank you.

SHOP LOCAL.  Along with my friend Linda McNulty (pictured above), I organized a Shop Local campaign to help residents understand the power they have in keeping a grocery store in our town.  Over 50 Victoria residents joined Linda and me as we held signs in downtown Victoria simply encouraging residents to Shop Local.

DICK KELLOR, pictured, leads our fishing party of four boats across Lake St. Joseph.  This year's group also included Roger Oas, Dave Schimke, Kurt Zuppke, Marc Kaprovec, Ira Happe, Wes Lussman, and Ed Lussman.  The fishing, food, and comaraderie was excellent.  Dick's walleye at shore lunch is the best.  Lake St. Joseph is 650 miles north of Victoria in Ontario, Canada, and 140 miles northeast of Sioux Lookout, Ontario.  The lake itself is a 60-mile long reservoir on the Albany River.

AT THE LIONS TOURNAMENT.  You probably have plenty of pictures from the recent Victoria Lions Softball Tournament, but here's another one.  You might recognize all of us, especially the one in the middle with the baseball cap.

Seated at table, Jerry and Michel of Victoria.  On my right, which is your left, are Judy Moore Forcier and Pokie Johnson.  On my left, which is your right, are Roxie Notermann (almost hidden), my Aunt Mary Moore and Jane Schneider Schimschock.
