This nonfisherperson has heard that fisherpersons are still catching sunnies.  Trying to connect the dots, I deduced that sunnies are normally not caught this late in  the summer.  My deduction was correct.  Fisherpersons tell me that sunnies usually stop biting after Memorial Day, that they often don't bite so much in June and certainly not in July.  The reason they've continued to bite this year?  High water.  But it's down a lot now and, as a matter of fact, our lawn is looking thirsty.

You're right.  If it isn't one extreme, it's the other.  And so we keep taking one day at a time until it's time one day to pull another winner out of the minnow bucket.  I reached in and found Bev Tschimperle of Chaska!  Congratulations, Bev.  The ten bucks will be on its way to you shortly.  The fishhook was wrapped around the finger in the Swanson Insurance ad on page 15 of the July issue of the Gazette.

Then I reached for the fishhook and hid it somewhere within these 48 pages.  All I can say is, good luck.  You got a lot to go through.  If you find it, drop a line telling me of its location and sinker in the mail to P.O. Box 387, Victoria, MN 55386 or use Sue@VictoriaGazette.com.

Doesn't it sound funny to use the word fisherperson instead of fisherman?
