To the Editor: We are writing to support Dave Lind-gren for Victoria City Councilmember. Dave is very accessible to everyone. When you have a problem or concern about city matters and he does not have the answer at the time you ask him, he will get the answer and get back to you. Dave is very concerned about the City of Victoria and its people. We are support-ing Dave for City Council. John and Ruth Kroening Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Hasta La Vista and Buenas tardes! Hope you had a great time in Cabo. Everyone I know who has been there loves it. Also, I appreciate your "thank you" to us for being candidates. It was not an easy decision. I think with every-thing happing in our community, we need to have someone with Planning Commis-sion experience who will be ready for the job. Not sure what my chances are but I am going to give it my best. Kim Roden Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Good morning. We've spoken be-fore. I am a distance relative of Wendelin Grimm and I would like to know when the celebration for the Grimm Farmhouse in Victoria is this fall. To the Editor: Good morning, Suzy Q. I am so amazed at your talents in weaving all of the wonderful little tidbits that Mom and Dad gave you into such a fun feature! I know my folks are very excited about the Gazette being out so they can pass it on to family and friends, far and near. Have a swell day. Lots o' Luv, Julie Schmieg Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Greetings. The League of Women Voters will be conducting a candidate debate on the evening of Monday, Octo-ber 4th here at the Victoria City Hall. To the Editor: Although I have no ad for this month, I do have some exciting news if you are interested in a story. Schmitty's is send-ing a men's softball team to the Class D Nations in Salem, Oregon, this week, leaving on Thursday and will be back on Sunday. Results should be in by the time you go to press. If you would like some background on the team and this year's record, you can contact team manager Scott Breimhorst. Thanks. Craig/Schmitty's Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: We would like to thank you for the great job you did with our story. We have gotten a lot of good comments about it. It was fun having you out to the farm. You have such a fine way of putting people's lives to poetry. Reading your paper is a joy. God bless. Mary, Dick, and Julie Schmieg Victoria, Minnesota P.S. from Dickie: "You made my life sound more interesting than it really is, so I've decided to drop my slander suit."☺
To the Editor: I would like to endorse Dave Lind-gren for reelection to the Victoria City Council. I have known Dave for the past 12 years. Dave is a man of high integrity, knows the value of a dollar, and has the best interests of our community in mind. Thanks for the many years of service, Dave. Ron Payne Victoria, Minnesota
