I hope that all Victoria businesses will contact the Chamber and be part of next year's festival.  I know that our Chamber and City will be working close-ly together to ensure a third annual safe and fun Volksfest.

Our client is opening a new store in Greenfield and I am inquiring about the Gazette's pre-print insert as well as ROP rates.  In addition I am also interested in your circulation by zip code.

The Swedes are here!  The Swedes are here!  If you would like to interview them, they will be volunteering at the Andrew Peterson Farm, aka Rock Isle Farm, at 8050 Highway 5.  They will be working all days except Sundays (weather permitting) until they leave on October 28th.  The Sheriff's Posse has a very nice room in the big red barn towards Highway 5.  We expect to have them take breaks at 10, noon, and 2.  Please join us when you can.

It looks like little Addie Sue will someday have her own art gallery.  Sum-mer sure went bye-bye, alright!  Another month until Christmas.  When it was 102-degree heat index in July, we needed some cool air.  Now we got it.
Turkey Day coming up.  What kind of pie to make?  Apple, pumpkin, peach, boo-berry?  I think the ghost on page 22 of the October Gazette will have pie after he gets through fishing.
Vote in the November election.  Vote for Randy Maluchnik.  Sock it to them, Randy.

I didn't get through paging through the October Gazette and here I see the fishhook on page 22 in the Victoria Lions and City Halloween spook.  Good hiding, great editor, and fun finding.

Thanks very much for your newsy wonderful stories and short line items.  Thanksgiving is coming and I am grateful for all those people who prayed for my recovery from back surgery.  The latest report is that my back looks "spectacular" - the word from my doctor.  The x-rays show everything is in place, rods and screws.  God heard the prayers and I thank all of you.  Happy Thanksgiving to you and all your Gazette readers.

I never thought I would be writing to you about this but I finally found the fish-hook, on the ghost emblem on page 22.  At long last I finally found it.  Also, thanks for the great job on providing so much information on our Victoria City Council candidates.  I found this informa-tion very helpful.

We live in the Stieger Lake Condo-miniums and enjoy receiving the Gazette at that postal address.  We spend about six months of the year in Florida and would like to receive the Gazette there during the winter months if possible.  It would be great if you could send it to us in Florida from November through May.  Just moved to Victoria last year and love your paper.  Thanks again.

I would like to commend Mueller and Sons for the roadwork they did in the Kirke-Lachen neighborhood of Victoria.  I hope everyone shows respect for stop signs and speed limits now, no matter which neighborhood you live in.  The construction is over and I hope the bad driving habits on 81st are also over.
