Letters-April '05 continued

To the Editor:
Never played the Find the Fishhook Game before.  It just jumped out at me on page 39 on the side of the scroll of the Victoria Gazette.  Hope your trip to Texas was safe.

To the Editor:
When I run for office, I want you to be my campaign manager.

To the Editor:
Thanks for the February Gazette.  It really arrived soon.  Have not finished reading all of it yet.  You know, there is so much to do, even here in sunny Naples, haha.
What a treat to read about Nancy Maynard.  What a dear she is.  We used to do a Bible study together.  Could you give me her email address?  Would love to get in touch with her.  Also, I thought I had Barbara Larkin's address here.  I just have her Florida address.  Could you please give me her Wisconsin address?
Looking forward to the March issue of the Victoria Gazette.  Thanks again.
Love,
Bonnie Fritz

To the Editor:
Hard to believe that my work is being featured on a series of the future.  There have been many surprises, many smiles, many tears on the way to senior life, and now this!
Enjoy the news.  Keep on!  Victoria is a happening community.  So glad I landed here.

To the Editor:
Do you know how the City of Victoria got its name?  Someone told me it was named for the Queen of England.

Waconia, Minnesota

EDITOR'S NOTE:  The first baby baptized here was baptized "Victoria."  History is not sure if the town was named after the baby or the baby was named after the town.

To the Editor:
Hi, Sue.  I enjoy your paper.  It really reflects what kind of community Victoria is.  The only thing that's missing is a classified ad section.  Thanks.
Lisa Reinhart
Excelsior, Minnesota

EDITOR'S NOTE:  Doing a classified section sounds awful to me.

To the Editor:
Keep us on the mailing list.  Sending the money for another year of excellent reading and information.  Truly enjoy it.

To the Editor:
Victoria is a nice size city with a paper that is committed to reporting all the news in the city and a few articles about the people who live therein.  A very informative paper with enjoyable reading.  Thank you for printing a picture of my old friends, Dick and Nancy Maynard.

To the Editor:
I was born above Leo's Bar in 1917.  At that time the whole town could have been sold for $370 but I'm glad to see you're prospering.

To the Editor:
Please keep me on your mailing list.  I love keeping up to the news from my old home.  You do a great job.

To the Editor:
Thank you, Sue, for the best!  I'm 80 years old and blind now, so I've enjoyed reading you for ten years.  Keep on, but you'll have to take me off your mailing list.

To the Editor:
Great article on Lloyd and Susie Bonkoski.  I have informed their friends in Arizona and Florida to check out their story at www.VictoriaGazette.com.  Keep up the good work and Christian witness.
