To the Editor: Thanks for an excellent commentary on The Passion of the Christ in your March issue of the Gazette. Your ques-tion as to why the media and their chums are so afraid of seeing this movie is a good one. All one has to do is go to the Word of God and He will give us the answers. Read Romans 1:16-32 and you'll see. Man simply wants to do his own thing. He doesn't want to be told what to do. The truth is that God does love each one of us so much. He does not want us to be hurt by life's circumstances so He gives us guidelines in the Scriptures to live by. Only when we follow His Word (obedience) will we experience true joy and peace. And we wonder why our world is so evil? We all have gone unto our own ways. It makes for chaos. Satan may win the battle here and now, but we know who wins the war. Satan may be the prince of this world, but we know who is the King of Kings, and one day every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord! Hallelujah! Love to you, Sue. Keep up the great work. Some day you'll have an extra jewel in your crown. Pastor Maureen Bonner Waterbrooke Fellowship

To the Editor: Enclosed is my renewal of an inter-esting paper. Well done, good and faithful servant. I share the Gazette with Sister Elizabeth Clare Heutmaker who had family connections in the Victoria area. Lots of growth in the Victoria area. I hope the Dairy Queen stays where it is. When is your mom's birthday? I'm going to call you soon. Love, Sister Betty Ann Gits St. Paul, Minnesota
To the Editor: Hi, Sue. I think I forgot to pay for last year's paper, so here's $20. Many thanks for a well written paper. Laura Welter Chaska, Minnesota
To the Editor: Keep up the good work on your paper for giving us the news around Victoria. Wished we had more news around Waconia like that. It's always a pleasure trying to find the fishhook. Hope the tulips will be coming up soon. Toni VanEyll Waconia, Minnesota
To the Editor: Enclosed is a check for our subscrip-tion to the Victoria Gazette. We enjoy your paper so much. Your front page feature is always so interesting, even though we don't know the people you write about. And, of course, we look forward to Cowboy Tom's column every month. Keep that paper going. In friendship, Roman and Marie Stumpf LeSueur, Minnesota
To the Editor: Thanks, once again, Sue, for a job superbly done. Especially since Mom left us I yearn for this connection to who I am. Rita Doussard Lakewood, Colorado
To the Editor: Hi, Sue. Thanks for sending us that picture you took for the Gazette of the "guys on the ice." It was a great picture, so colorful on the white snow. We're ready for spring to come now that it's March Madness time. This weather is teasing us, especially when it's spring break this week. We've got new chicks here for this year's 4H poultry project, and the kids attended a poultry bowl yesterday in Jordan. They competed against other teams to move on to state competition. They did alright for their first year, but not good enough to compete at state yet. Thanks again, and have a great week. Carol Vadnais Victoria, Minnesota
