To the Editor: I'd like to get the Gazette again. Do you remember that you did a story on my dad and mother way back when the Creamery was all done up? Dad was the first barber in Victoria and had built a building where the present lumber yard is, and his father homesteaded a farm, paid by trapping muskrats, which is now in Carver Park. Thanks. Violet Kerber, Minneapolis, Minnesota
To the Editor: We look forward to the Gazette every month. On this day, the six-month anniversary of that dreadful day of September 11th, we all must keep on keeping on. Love and prayers, Sharon Brown, Cologne, Minnesota
To the Editor: I enjoy reading the Gazette each month. It is hard to believe, as you reported in your Ten Years Ago Column, that it is ten years since I left the city. Those years were special to me, and I still miss all the wonderful people I worked with at the city. Victoria will always be close to my heart. I especially miss you, Sue. Thanks for everything. Lois Boll, Cologne, Minnesota
To the Editor: Thanks for all your news and infor-mation in the Gazette. I could name lots of articles and still forget some of the interesting ones so I'm just saying, "Thanks very much for a wonderful paper." Please keep me on your mailing list. Some of your readers will remember my mother, Catherine Hauwiller. She is on your mailing list and likes reading new about the people she knows from the days we lived near Victoria, where Carver Park is now. It was our home farm until 1959. Catherine is now at Auburn West Home in Waconia. She had two heart attacks. She would love to hear from people and she loves company. Her address is 232 Elm Street South, Waconia, MN 55387. Keep up your good work. May God bless you and all our friends at Victoria. Sr. Lois Hauwiller, St. Paul, Minnesota
To the Editor: Congratulations to Jenny and your upcoming wedding. Hope to see you on that very special day. Continued thanks for the great paper. You do such a wonderful job. Downtown development sounds exciting. The scales in Jim Larkin's column seem to be tilted on one side. Hope it is on the side of justice. If that's the fishhook, slip my name in the winner's box and call when my name is drawn. Bonnie Fritz, Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Enjoyed all the articles last month on Victoria -- the new "Boom" town. Philomena Hesse, Minneapolis, Minnesota
To the Editor: Hard to believe how the Gazette has grown over the past many years. Keep it coming! Linda Brown, Chaska, Minnesota
To the Editor: Hi, Sue. Just got back from Texas. We were in Port Aransas for a couple months. Found the fishhook in the "Scales of Justice." By the way, we check out your web site quite often. Shirl Schuster, Carver, Minnesota
To the Editor: This is the best $10 I spend all year. Alice Palmer, Edina, Minnesota
To the Editor: Six months ago today, we were all glued to our TVs. I had spoken to our son Dave the week before and he said he would be working in New York the following week, but I didn't ask where he was staying. He had stayed at the Marriott which was between the two towers. He lost everything except the clothes he was wearing, his billfold, and his life. He saw four people jump from about 80 stories up. He was 1 ½ blocks from the first tower when it collapsed and about six blocks away when the second tower collapsed. When he arrived back at his home in Fort Lauderdale on Friday, the neighbors and friends had decorated his house with flags and balloons and he said, "My heart smiled." I can't imagine what he's going through emotionally, based on what he has seen. We love your Gazette. Hi to Germaine and Jeanette, former neighbors. Juanita Glowatzke, St. Cloud, Minnesota
To the Editor: I appreciate the Gazette coming my way -- through snowstorms, sickness, trips, accidents, and events only you know. You're an inspiration for hard work and determination in getting the job done. Sr. Rolaine Diethelm, Shoreview, Minnesota
To the Editor: Keep up the good work on your paper. Have a good day and keep smiling. Ardell Wolter, Young America, Minnesota
To the Editor: We want to thank you for sending the Gazette to us here in Arizona for us to enjoy. We plan to be back in Minnesota for Easter. We wish you and your family a Blessed and Happy Easter. Love, Clarence and Dorothy Kelzer, Phoenix, Arizona
