To the Editor: Enclosed is our check for renewal of our subscription. Note our change of address. While most people tend to head south upon retirement, we're moving north into the wilderness. It was only six years ago that this particular section of Minnesota finally got electricity. That 80-square mile section was one of the largest non-electric areas in the United States, so it truly was wilderness until very recently. But where else can you meet a meandering moose? Or see a man out walking with his dog, his pet deer (with a bandana around its neck), a duck, and a goose? And where the event of the year is a tractor and bobcat parade? We'll see you at Jenny's wedding on the 23rd! Jeanene and Merle Munsterman, Cook, Minnesota
To the Editor: Looking forward to another year of the Gazette. Enclosed is my payment. Hello and best wishes to Jenny Schug, the Dungey's, and Ovid. Thank you for keeping an old Victorian informed. Diana Gramith, Naples, Florida
Dear Mother of the Bride: Enclosed is a check for subscriptions for us and Solbergs', including allowance for winter postage. Thanks. Jim Larkin, Placida, Florida
To the Editor: You and your talented people do a great job with the Gazette. Keep on going. The fishhook is on page 19 in the justice scale. Here is a check to keep your paper coming to me. Thank you. Gertrude Klaras, Webster, Minnesota
To the Editor: Sure do like to read your Gazette. Very, very interesting. Victoria is really growing. Wish St. Boni could grow, but it's just about all built up. Keep on writing. Thank you. Carol Maas, St. Bonifacius, Minnesota
To the Editor: Enclosed is our check to keep us on your mailing list. Your articles are always so interesting. Please send a subscription to my brother and sister in law, Roger and Joyce Geis. Joyce is a Notermann from Victoria; need I say more? I sometimes save copies of the Gazette and send them or give them to her, but she does miss quite a few. The articles on the drawing board for the City of Victoria, as featured in your March edition, would have been of interest to her. Thanks for everything. Virgil and Carol Gestach, Chaska, Minnesota
To the Editor: Enjoy your paper. Keep up the good work. Your guardian angels really like you. Julia S. Naughton, Chaska, Minnesota
To the Editor: I read your delightful story of your daughter's joyful engagement. Blessings to all of you at this special time. When the big event is over, come visit us for a tour. I'm new to the area, and River Gables is the new apartment complex for people 55+, independent adults. I'm the LifeStyle Director. I plan and host events, dances, market, golf clinics. Hope to meet you soon. Karen Eileen, Chaska, Minnesota
To the Editor: Enclosed is $10 for another year's subscription to the Gazette. We both look forward to your paper every month and read it from cover to cover. We really enjoy your front page story of any person or persons' lives, even though we do not know them. We also enjoy your very personal editorial inside. And, of course, we enjoy Cowboy Tom's column. Keep that paper coming! Marie and Roman Stumpf, LeSueur, Minnesota
To the Editor: Happy Spring! Thanks a million for the Gazette, and I just knew you would be going the extra mile. This nursing home is not too much like home, but it keeps both Gert and me off the street. She's still nursing the right hip that was replaced and taking care of other aches and pains. I have a few of same, but may be better off at this time. Don't know how long we will be here, but it looks like my retire-ment savings will be wiped out. This cer-tainly was not ever planned, but the good Lord has His way of doing things. Best wishes, and sing or play a prayer for us, please. Jim Neudecker, Shakopee, Minnesota
To the Editor: I see in your last Hook Column that you are easy eaters, with salami sandwiches and potato chips and you think you are in heaven and, "Oops! In heaven there is no beer." In Belgium we have five Trappist Abbeys that brew their own famous Trappist Beer of 9, 10, or 11 degrees alcohol! A year ago the Trappist Abbey of Achel, in which the first week of March some Crosier fathers and I followed a retreat, did begin their brewery, the sixth in Belgium, and it is in our neighborhood. At the end of a silent and pious meditative day, we permitted us a Trappist beer. We think in heaven there will be beer. I join with Janie Jasin where she wishes Jenny and Chris a story of love forever beautiful, new, and inspiring. I wish your children an unforgettable wedding with most of all the benediction of the Lord. Special greetings to your parents, and you all. A pity the ocean is so wide. Father Ferdinand Jennen, Hasselt, Belgium
To the Editor: Thank you for sending the Victoria Gazette to Hennepin Parks. It's great. Could you add "Public Relations Assistant" to our address label? By the way, we thought your photos on the Grimm Farm Open House (in Sue's Album on your website) were terrific. Myrna Docherty, Hennepin Parks, Plymouth, Minnesota
