Anna Dombi from Hungary finds a home in Victoria with Pastor Bill Bonner and Pastor Maureen Bonner of Waterbrooke Fellowship. The new Waterbrooke church building is located in Victoria on County Road 43, also known as Church Lake Boulevard. The beautiful property on Lake Wasserman once belonged to the late Jerome Zanger.

New President at KleinBank-Victoria. Dan Klein, President/CEO of KleinBank, Minnesota’s largest family-owned state bank, has announced the appointment of Marques Doppler to President of KleinBank in Victoria. Doppler will also continue to serve as Market President in neighboring Chanhassen.

Doppler has over 27 years of extensive experience in the financial services industry. He has been a valuable contributor to KleinBank’s success in 1997, starting as President in Montevideo and moving to the Market President in Chanhassen in early 2004.

Originally from Dickinson, ND, Doppler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with emphasis in Financial Institutions, from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. He is a graduate of numerous banking schools including the Midwest Banking Institute, Minnesota Bankers Association Commercial Lending School, and the American Bankers Association National Commercial Lending School. He holds a Financial Planning degree from the College for Financial Planning and is Series 7 & 63 Securities licensed, and insurance licensed.

As a community-focused banker, Doppler is committed to the communities he serves. Over the years, he has served as a board member for numerous organizations including United Way, YMCA, Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development, Community Foundation, and School Board.

He has also been a volunteer youth football and basketball and a member of Kiwanis, Rotary, Jayces, church finance councils, and hospital foundations. He and his wife Tina have three children and live in Victoria.

In his announcement, Dan Klein stated, “We are extremely pleased to have Marques serve as Market President for Victoria and Chanhassen. He brings a strong, proven banking background to this position.
