To the Editor:

Happy New Year, Sue.   I hope your time over the Christmas season had a good measure of joy and love and peace.

I was asked to speak at a conference up in Canada for college students, and they asked me for a recent picture.  I was wondering if you would mind if I used that photo you took for the December issue of the Gazette.  If that is okay, would you email it to me so I could  forward it to them?

I pray that this New Year will be filled with God's favor upon you, your family, and your ministry.  Thanks so much.

Pastor Kevin Dibbley, Waterbrooke Christian Church, Victoria, MN

To the Editor:

Happy New Year, Sue.  I wanted to tell you how much I enJOYed the article you wrote about Christmas Carols at Good Sam's.  The photos are wonderful and really tell the stories of the singers' love of what they were doing, the "congregation," Father Bob's closeness to them, and, of course, Arlo.

Thank you so much for coming that day and covering this Victoria activity.  You did a much better job than I ever could have done.  My favorite sentence in the article is, "Judy pushed a little harder and because of our longtime friendship I said, 'Sure!  I'll come and take pictures but I can't stay long.'"

I am thankFULL to be a longtime friend, and I want you to know I do treasure your friendship.  Glad you stayed for everything but the cookies.

Thank you also for the link to more photos in Sue's Album.  They are awesome.  I forwarded it to others who were with the singing group.  See you in church.

To the Editor:

Good afternoon, Sue.  Thank you for putting in the picture of the boys.  It is always fun seeing them in the paper.  I am wondering if there is a way I could get two more copies of the Gazette.

To the Editor:

Whew!  So much information in the Gazette.  I thought for a while, with your  January 2018 wrap-up of the past year, that I was reading the Chicago Trib or a huge newspaper from another place.  Your ongoing work to cover all (all!) of what is going on here is a magnificent blessing.

Me?  It seems with my ailments, living in Wisconsin six months a year, and just seeing all that is going up downtown and out on Highway 5 and around every corner, I can barely keep up.  Candy in the florist shop, florist in the dance hall, eaters on the main street, beauty on the main street -- it is all so much!  Seems I am an oldtimer.

And still groceries avoid us.  Perhaps there is a litany or prayer service that we can put in place to have a few groceries appear in Victoria other than at the gas stations.  Blessings and thank you thoughts.

         Janie Jasin, Victoria, Minnesota

To the Editor:

Your pictures in the Gazette of Christmas in Victoria were fabulous.  Thank you so much.  Looking forward to a great 2018.

To the Editor:

Hello, Sue.  I cut Harry Bongard's letter to the editor out of the January issue of the Gazette, enlarged it, and posted it on our bulletin board at our office.  I wrote, "Way to go, Harry!"  Harry and I work together in the Coldwell Banker Burnet Eden Prairie Office, and we have many discussions about Victoria.   I'll send you my ad for February soon.

To the Editor:

Hello, Sue.  I know you do some movie reviews in the Gazette, through your editorial column.  The movie "Wonder" is a great story of a family dealing with a 5th grade son with physical problems and a teenage sister and school bullying.  It's all ends with a happy conclusion.  The best thing about this story is that Middle School students in Northfield, MN, are reading the book and some 4th graders in Waconia are also reading the book.  Thank you.  I hope you are able to find the movie, "Wonder."
