I took the photos below from April 28th to May 8th. It was only two and then three weeks into the project and things were always moving fast. Notice in the greening of the trees how spring continues to arrive. I could almost write a whole story about every photo, but then this photo story would never get to the end. The stone masons show up here to add stone around the base of our house and repair a spot in our fireplace left by the removed kitchen desk/cabinet/coat closet wall. The carpenters begin putting on the new exterior house trim and rough cedar siding, work with me in designing the exterior south peak, then dig into the detached garage, which also gets new windows and fancy corbels. Painters prepare to re-do the inside vaulted ceilings which means lots of beams to tape and work around. |
