The hardwood floor installation started on May 14th. These pictures were taken over the next two weeks, up to May 28th. Men are working everywhere inside and outside, as usual, and even in my tiny little office space because I was getting a new window there too. Life continues to take us on the construction journey and it remains fun and exciting, although my privacy has been totally invaded for a month now. At this time we see the old cabinet doors removed, the new stair railing being designed and constructed, the new interior window trim being stained, and my black galaxy granite getting installed, including the granite backsplash. I love my new kitchen “table.” Also, the exterior of the house gets stained and the Aztec shingles get painted. Amazing. I love my new “red” accent color. |
