Party at Acorn House. Two dozen members of the Andrew Peterson Society of Sweden are arriving in Minnesota from an area of Sweden where Andrew Peter-son lived before coming and settling between Victoria and Waconia in an area of Laketown Township once known as Scandia. There will be a party at the Acorn House in Victoria for them from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Friday, September 14th. The public is invited.
Family Fitness Challenge. From September 10th through December, 2007. Any family in Victoria, whether they are members of the Victoria Field House or not, may join. Each person will receive a t-shirt and an exercise journal.
Victoria Volksfest. Saturday, September 22nd, in downtown Victoria. Car show, live music, kiddie parade, bed races, food and drink. 5K Run at 9 a.m. One mile kids fun run at 8:40 a.m.
Apple Day in Excelsior. Saturday, September 8th. A main street market featuring apples, antiques, and country items. Doll buggy and red wagon parade. Historic walking tour. Car and tractor display. Used book sale. Boat show. Ride the street car.
Excelsior Farmer's Market. Every Thursday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. through October. Located at the Lyman Site on Water Street in downtown Excelsior.
Nickel Dickle Day. Saturday, Septem-ber 15th, in Waconia. Entertainment, car show, lots of shopping, events at City Square Park and around town. Fun for family and friends.
Free Health Screening Seminar. Wednesday, September 12th, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Lighthouse at Waconia. Located on Cherry Street. Screenings include osteoporosis, blood pressure, posture, nervous system, hearing, and fall prevention.
Girls Night Out. Every Thursday evening from 5 to 9 p.m. throughout the summer, Excelsior's main street stores, salons, and restaurants are offering promotions, merchandise, discounts, games, spa services, demonstrations, specials, activities, live music, and much more. Victoria Lions meet the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at the Victoria Hall on Rose Street at 6:30 p.m.
Victoria Chamber of Commerce meets on an irregular basis.
Victoria Senior Citizens meet weekly on Thursdays at the Acorn House in Diethelm Park.
Victoria City Council meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Victoria Hall on Rose Street. There are also special council meetings and workshops scheduled throughout the year.

Victoria Toastmasters meet the second and fourth Thursdays at 7:00 p.m.
