The Rev. Larry Christian, formerly a pastor at Lake Auburn Moravian Church in Victoria, has been called to serve in Specialized Ministry as chaplain at Moravian Care Ministries, an elder care ministry for the Western District of the Moravian Church in North America, located in Chaska and Waconia. The Rev. Christianson will be responsible for providing spiritual guidance and support to residents, resident families, staff, and local communities at the senior housing facilities.

Division Champions. Culver's of Chanhassen is the 13-year old District 112 Youth Baseball Prep Division Champion! Culver's was able to get two victories in the final two games of the year-end tournament over an outstanding Oracle team to win the Championship in the 13-year of Prep Division. Colby Ryan Brueggemier was born to Brandon and Lisa Brueggemeier of Waconia on July 26th, 2006, at 12:35 a.m. at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia. Proud grandparents are Jerry and Ruth Hilgers of Victoria and Ed and Dixie Brueggemeier.
