Victoria Elementary School. The Community Open House and Dedication of Victoria Elementary School is set for Sunday, September 18th, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. There will be tours of the building available and coffee/cookies in the cafeteria. At 2 p.m. there will be a program. District 112 Superintendent Dave Jennings, District 112 School Board Chair Michele Helgen, and Victoria Elementary Principal Nancy Wittman will say a few words. Victoria Councilmember Terry Bishop will represent the City of Victoria.
Victoria Volksfest. Saturday, September 24th, downtown Victoria. Food, street dance, prizes. Sponsored by the Victoria Chamber, the City of Victoria, and area businesses.
Victoria youth and adults can become better acquainted with 4H at the Get Green event scheduled for Tuesday, September 20th, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Chanhassen Public Library and Waconia Public Library.
Victoria law enforcement people are invited by Archbishop Harry Flynn to a Mass of Thanksgiving and Remembrance for Law Enforcement and Emergency Personnel to be celebrated at the Cathedral of St. Paul on Saturday, September 10th, at 10 a.m.
Victoria Lions meet the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at the Victoria Hall on Rose Street at 6:30 p.m.
Victoria Chamber of Commerce meets on an irregular basis.
Victoria Senior Citizens meet weekly on Thursdays at the Acorn House in Diethelm Park.
Victoria City Council meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Victoria Hall on Rose Street. There are also special council meetings and workshops scheduled throughout the year.
Victoria American Legion meets monthly. Established in 1995. Call Dan Steinhagen, Carver County Veterans Officer, for more information.
Victoria Toastmasters meet the second and fourth Thursdays at 7 p.m.
