To the Editor: We are moving soon and don't want to miss the Gazette. I have read all of them over the years. Please note our new address effective September 1st. Now that we are in the neighborhood, perhaps we can socialize like the double cousins that we are. Hope to see you soon. Sue and Jose Boatman New Brighton, Minnesota
To the Editor: Thank you for the lovely article that you put in your August paper. I surely did not think when you said "article," that you meant front page. Several people have made comments on how nice it was. Thanks again. And hello to the Victoria Lions. Darlene Wedin Rockford, Minnesota
To the Editor: I double checked the letter I attached from Senator Julianne Ortman, and you are right. Although it mentions Carver and Scott Counties at the top, and includes a contact blurb at the bottom, it does not include the district number, which is #34! I thank you for your "editor's eyes" on this and I will make sure that it is included on all correspondence in the future. Have a great week. Donna Sorrell Legislative Assistant to Sen. Ortman St. Paul, Minnesota
To the Editor: I'm enclosing money for another year's subscription. The first thing I do when I receive the Gazette is look for the fishhook. I always find it, but sometimes it takes a while. After I find it I can settle down and read the interesting articles. Margaret Priebe Bolivar, Missouri
To the Editor: Good afternoon, Sue. The Victoria Fire Department is doing a small media event on Monday, August 29th, at 7 p.m. at the Victoria Fire Station. We are going to present plaques to all parties involved in donating and outfitting the Victoria Fire Department Command Vehicle. I would like if you could be there for a piece for the Gazette. Let me know if you can make it or not. Tim Walsh, Victoria Fire Chief Victoria, Minnesota
