Sweet Adeline.  Hello, little honey bunny.  Grandma Sue and Grandpa Al missed you very much while we were in Alaska.  My, how you've grown!

Engaged.  Fred and Cindi Notermann of nearby Lake Bavaria, Chaska, announce the engagement of their daughter Lindsay Notermann to Kevin Thomas, the son of Richard and Linda Thomas of Eden Prairie. 
Lindsay is a 1998 graduate of Chaska High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Government and History.  She is currently employed with RBC Dain Rauscher in Minneapolis.
Kevin is a 1998 graduate of Eden Prairie High School and a 2003 graduate of North Dakota State University with a degree in Manufacturing Engineering.  He is currently with Custom Fab Solutions in Chanhassen.
An October, 2003, wedding is planned at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Chaska.
EDITOR'S NOTE:  Cindi is a granddaughter of the late Arnold and Evelyn Notermann who lived in Victoria for 50 years.  Arnold owned a Schmidt Beer Distributing Company that operated out of Victoria for many years. 

Happy 45th Anniversary.  David and Marilynn Boorsma of Victoria celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on August 24th, 2003, with family and friends at an Open House hosted by their children.  David and Marilynn were married August 29th, 1958, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Minneapolis.  They have five children:  Mark, Kari, Paul, Heidi, Peter, and 10 grandchildren with another due in October.  David and Marilynn have been residents of Victoria since 1975, and David is a former mayor of Victoria whose term was January, 1983, to December, 1984.

A Family Affair.  Susan Solem has joined the real estate office of RE/MAX A-1 Excellence as a sales associate and GRI professional.  She attended Crown College and Mankato State University and resides in Victoria with husband Mark.  She is a member of the Chaska Women's Golf Club, Marriage Enrich-ment Ministry, and is a Neighborhood Expert.  Her specialties include New Construction Sales, Investment Proper-ties, and Existing Home Sales.  Susan is part of a sales team and has helped ex-pand that team concept with her mother Donna Mason to include her husband Mark and Angela Evans Mitchell.

Welcome, Frankie!
Matt and Jenny Simonsen of Victoria announce the birth of their son Franklin Mark Simonsen who was born August 20th, 2003, at 12:13 a.m. at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia.  He weighed 9 lbs. 13 oz. and was 21 inches long.  Big sister Marilyn Kathryn, 16 months, also welcomed Frankie home.  Grandparents are Mark and Kathy Simonsen; Jerry and Mary Barlow (all of Cherokee, Iowa).  Great grandparents are Margaret and Doyle Simonsen; Mary and Jim Morgan (all of Quimby, Iowa); Adeline and the late Walt Geiger; Ron and Jean Evilsizor (all of Lawrence, Kansas).
