50^th Wedding Anniversary Party for Jerry and Jane Michel of Victoria on Friday, October 19^th, at the Waconia Lakeside Ballroom.  Family and friends are invited.  Social Hour is at 4:30 p.m. with dinner at 6:00 p.m.  Dance to live music at 7:30 p.m. 

Lions Halloween Party.  At the Victoria Field House gymnasium from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31^st.  For kids, parents, and goblins.  Games, treats, and prizes.  Inflatable Obstacle Course and Moonwalks.  Sponsored by the Victoria Lions and Victoria Parks and Recreation.

Excelsior Farmers' Market.  Every Thursday afternoon from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. through the month of October.  Located at the Lyman Site on Water Street in Excelsior.

Fire Department Open House.  The Victoria Fire Department is sponsoring its annual Open House on Saturday, October 6^th, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Victoria Fire Station on Hwy 5.  Learning activities will be featured for young and old.

Art for Sale.  An art show featuring the oils of local artist Tom Labandz will be held at the Kelley Gallery in Woodbury on Saturday, November 10^th, from 4 to 8 p.m.  The artist has been drawing and painting all his life, much more seriously, however, in the last 15 years.  Tom's degree is in art history from the University of Minnesota.  He also studied fine arts at the University as well as at the Minneapo-lis College of Art and Design.  Tom's Victoria Connection is Father Bob White; the two worked together at the Grain Belt Brewery in Northeast Minneapolis in the '60's.

Excelsior Farmer's Market.  Every Thursday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. through October.  Located at the Lyman Site on Water Street in downtown Excelsior.

Victoria Lions meet the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at the Victoria Hall on Rose Street at 6:30 p.m.

Victoria Chamber of Commerce meets on an irregular basis.

Victoria Senior Citizens meet weekly on Thursdays at the Acorn House in Diethelm Park.

Victoria City Council meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Victoria Hall on Rose Street.  There are also special council meetings and workshops scheduled throughout the year.

Victoria Toastmasters meet the second and fourth Thursdays at 7:00 p.m.
