To the Editor:
Your work with the Gazette is fan-tastic.  There seems to be something magical about it that you cannot find in any other paper.

To the Editor:
Hi, Sue.  Most likely you are already aware of Waterbrooke Fellowship's Cele-bration Sunday, September 10th.  This is the day we will celebrate God's goodness to us as we officially open our new build-ing.  Hope that you can attend.
Maureen Bonner, Victoria, Minnesota

To the Editor:
How do you like our first taste of frost?  I'm not looking forward to winter!
I was never very good at fishing but didn't have a problem "hooking" on the Kidtalk ad on page 24 of the September Gazette.  Always wonderful articles in your paper.

To the Editor:
Shhh!  Don't talk too loud.  The fish are biting in the Kidtalk ad on page 24 in the September Gazette.  Yep, I had an articulation problem in school with any word that had an 'r' at the beginning, such as radio, rabbit, red, rice.
When I was in seventh grade, a mid-dle school teacher gave me a tape that had her voice on it, and I was to listen to it and recite every word outloud.  But I had no tape player at home and I was not about to play that tape in school in front of 23 kids.  The teacher confronted me and asked if I played the tape.  I pretended I didn't know what she meant.
Then Ma pipes in and asks me the same thing.  I said I need a tape recorder for that and she said play it in school.  "It won't hurt."  I thought, you don't know my classmates, Ma.
I didn't use the tape.  I looked at 'r' words in the dictionary and silently read them.  I grew out of it.  As I got older, I find I'm not the only one who did that.  I've met 90-year olds who did that too.

I wanted to let you know that today is my last day with South West Metro Tran-sit.  If you need any information going forward, please contact our executive director, Len Simich.  It has been a pleas-ure working with you over the last 2.5 years.  Thank you and have a great day.
Brooke Brown, South West Metro Transit

To the Editor:
Thanks for your service to me and my ads.  They all turned out great.  In retro-spect and hindsight, could I ask why Gary Delaney was given such a wonderful opportunity to write such a large article right next to his large ad in the September Gazette?  If I was given that opportunity, I feel I could have done better in Victoria.  I was under the impression that there was a fair campaign law that requires media-news outlets to give equal amounts of space for candidates.  I look forward to working with you again.

EDITOR'S NOTE:  Seated/current repre-sentatives of Victoria organizations, churches, and governments have been writing regular columns in the Victoria Gazette for over 25 years.  I've never been asked to change my policy because of a looming election or other circum-stance, but I do try to keep an eye out for things fair and balanced.  You worked hard, Paul, and can be proud of that.

To the Editor:
Hi, Sue.  Would you be interested in any article ideas for future papers?  One in particular would be helpful hints for care-givers of individuals with dementia.  Maybe something around the holidays?  If so, I would love to arrange a time that you could meet with our occupational thera-pist to interview or submit a ready-made article.  Let me know what you think.

To the Editor:
Greetings from South Dakota.  I grew up in Victoria many years ago.  Well, it was many for me anyway.  Actually, I believe I was three years behind your daughter Jenny in school.  After all these years, I am still an avid reader of the Gazette and I look forward to receiving it in the mail every month.
The reason I am writing ... I came across a poem that I thought your Rough Rider columnist would be interested in.  Being a Harley rider myself with my husband, I really enjoy hearing about his journeys and I immediately thought that he would enjoy this attachment.  Could you please forward this onto him for me?
Thank you and hope all is well for everyone in Victoria.
