To the Editor:
I found your fishhook before I read the paper.  It's in the Kidtalk ad on the T.  First time I was that quick.  We both read the Gazette thoroughly, but when we drive into Victoria now we are treated as strangers because no one remembers us anymore.  The Old Man and I are doing fine.  In the summer I golf on three different golf leagues because I just love the game.  I'm not that good but I enjoy it.
We are having a granddaughter marrying on the 7th of October and our 60th anniversary is on the 6th.  That is, if we make it.
Keep up the good work.  You must also enjoy what you do.  Have a good one.
As ever,

To the Editor:
Hi, Sue.  I missed seeing you yester-day at the Notermann Building Open House.  They had quite a few people present and many Notermanns.  It was a lot of fun to hear the family talk about their childhood experiences in the build-ing.  They seemed to be having a family reunion, so the whole event was quite fun.
I have attached a picture that you may be able to use.  I know you like to use your own original photos, so if you'd rather meet and take my picture for your feature story, that is fine too.  I am also finished with your questionnaire, but I want to think another day on it before I email it to you.
Perhaps I'll see you at the Volksfest this afternoon?

To the Editor:
Thanks for putting my flower picture in our favorite paper.  The Springfield, Illinois, Catholic Diocesan paper pub-lished the enclosed article about the experiences of my brother, Father Fred Schneider, who was a missionary in the Amazon region of Brazil for many years.  Perhaps you may find it useful for the Gazette.
Fr. Fred, 83, is now residing at the friary of Our Lady of Angels at Villa West in Sherman, Illinois.  As you know, our parents were Leonard and Frances Schneider and we seven siblings grew up at Lake Bavaria.
God bless you and all your readers.

To the Editor:
I am so pleased that my colleague, Mary Hershberger Thun, is running for Victoria Mayor.  I have had the pleasure of working with Mary for the last four years while she has served the Victoria City Council.
I first worked with Mary while I served on the Victoria Planning Commis-sion.  I have had the privilege of working with Mary for the last two years while serving on the Victoria City Council.
There are a few things that Victoria voters should know about Mary.  First, she does her homework.  Second, she cares deeply about Victoria and is an ef-fective advocate for the taxpayers.  Third, she wants to make Victoria an even better place to live.
Mary is committed to doing a good job for all of us in our city.  Please join me in supporting Mary for Mayor in November.
Very truly yours,
Kim Roden

To the Editor:
Gary Delaney has done an excellent job as our Carver County Commissioner.  I remember one of his campaign promises was to get Bavaria Road paved.  Mission accomplished!  Residents of Chaska and Victoria benefit from that improvement.
Gary is responsible for getting the Carver County Economic Development Department and Carver Historic Preserva-tion effort created.  Gary serves on many metro-wide boards.  Anyone with another job would have a hard time filling his shoes.  This is his full time career.
Gary has mentioned to me that he would like to work on getting a library for Victoria.  He is just the guy who could get it going.  I encourage you to join me in voting for Gary Delaney.

To the Editor:
Hi, Sue.  I have been getting your paper for years and we just made a move recently and I miss getting it here!  If at all possible, can I return to your mailing list, please?  Also, I am in the works of opening a new consignment clothing store in Waconia again -- I closed my first one twelve years ago due to a bad divorce - and I will be contacting you to do some advertising real soon
Thanks for your incredibly awesome job on the Victoria Gazette.  Thanks again and God speed.
