Victoria Fire Department Open House  will be held on Saturday, October 5th, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Victoria Fire Station on Highway 5.   There will be educational displays, the Safe Escape House, door prizes, fire truck rides, and a free lunch of old fashioned wieners and chips.

Halloween Party.  Sponsored by the Victoria Lions, it will be held at the Victoria City Hall on Thursday, October 31st, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Victoria Home-Based Business Expo will be held on Saturday, November 16th, 2002, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Victoria City Hall on Rose Street in downtown Victoria.  It's a great way to begin your holiday shopping for beautiful inexpensive gifts.

Election Day.  Tuesday, November 5th, 2002, at the Victoria City Hall on Rose Street from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Victoria Senior Citizens meet weekly on Thursdays at the Victoria Village Hall.  Around noon.

Victoria City Council regularly meets the second and fourth Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at the Council Chamber on Rose Street.  There are also special council workshops, oftentimes just prior to regularly scheduled council meetings and on Friday mornings.  Call 952-443-2363.
