Letters to the Editor

To the Editor:
Hi, Sue.  Just got your recent paper and I am not sure you have another edition before the election.  If you do, will you please publish the attached letter for me?  When I bring your paper home to Karen with other newspapers, she will put all the other papers aside and read yours cover to cover.  I am sure it is a lot of hard work for you, but you sure do a great job.  It is so good to read positive people stories.
When I get big and retire I want to write a Charles Kuralt-type book with each chapter about another character I have met through the years.  I am sure you have a long list of such types also.  Will you help me?

To the Editor:
Hi, Mom.  Very good pictures of Oz on your website.  The last few pictures didn't arrive for us, probably because of our modem.  I'll have to look at the rest when I'm at your house.  We got the "real" paper today, too.  I liked your editorial.  You didn't tell me you were going to write about our monkey conversations and what a funny people we are.  Nick sent me a funny e-mail with a whole bunch of pictures of monkeys and apes, and he said that's what my baby is going to look like.  What a brother!
'Night-night.

To the Editor:
I read your paper from cover to cover each month and really enjoy the columns from Father Bob, Thom Derr ("One Biker's Perspective"), and Mike Wartman.  "The Scoop at City Hall" is great for keeping up with what's happening throughout Victoria, especially your reporting on the downtown area.
I found the fishhook on page 17 in the skull of the Brown's Tire & Auto skeleton.

To the Editor:
What would we do
If we didn't have you
To brighten our day
For so little pay?
With the arrival
Of the Victoria Gazette,
We're as happy
As we can get!

To the Editor:
To a great Editor Sue, who in 2003 will be a grandma to a beautiful grand-child.  Then you can yodel!  Found the fishhook on page 17 in the skeleton of the Brown's Tire & Auto ad.
Good luck.  Happy Halloween.

To the Editor:
Thank you for your newsy and well done Gazette.  I look forward to the latest news each month.
My sister Rose Hauwiller Laumann and brother in law Gerald celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.  They were married at St. Victoria Catholic Church, the home parish of our parents, Francis and Catherine Hauwiller, and family.  My mother will be celebrating her 89th birth-day on October 31st.  She is at Auburn West Home in Waconia and doing very well.
Keep up your wonderful paper.  May God bless you and your family and our friends at St. Victoria.

To the Editor:
I wanted to write a letter of thanks to you for all the hard work that you have done with Chamber and its advertising.  As a Chamber member you know that we are dedicated to enriching the lives of the citizens of Victoria and promoting the businesses within it.  Your warm heart and willingness to help have given us a chance to pursue each new activity with vigor.  Thanks again.

To the Editor:
A Happy Turkey Day to everyone!  The year has gone fast again and I'm already getting mail catalogs with Christmas stuff for sale.
Thank you to those who came for chow at the Chaska Legion's chop and kraut supper.  We hope to see you again in January.  When you eat with us you don't have to cook and clean dirty dishes.
By the way, that skeleton on page 17 has fishing on his mind!
