Calendar of Events

Lions Pancake Breakfast.  The Victoria Lions will be holding their next Pancake, French Toast, and Sausage Breakfast on Sunday, March 5th, at the Victoria City Hall on Rose Street.  The public is invited to join us from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  Come get all the pancakes you can eat.

  Chaska Valley Family Theater is kicking off its 11th year with the story of Tevye, a poor dairyman who tries to instill in his five daughters the traditions of his tight knit Jewish community in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia. 
Showtimes are at 7 p.m. on February 17th, 18th, 23rd, 24th, 25th, March 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.  Showtimes are also at 2 p.m. on February 19th, 26th,
March 4th and 5th.
All shows will be performed at the Chaska Community Center Theater.  Ticket order forms are available at the lobby kiosk at the Chaska Community Center or online at www.cvft.org.  Tickets are $13 for adults and $8 for students and children.  All seating is reserved.

Nominate a Young Person.  The communities in School District 112 adopted eight Community Values in 1989.  Since that time, the communities and schools have honored youth who have demonstrated these values in outstanding ways and have given outstanding service.
The public of District 112 is invited to recognize a young person in grades K-12 who you believe should be so honored.  Some examples of demonstrating values are projects through Scouting or 4H, service to the faith community, leadership or service at school, volunteerism.
To honor a young person who is truly outstanding, complete the form available on the District 112 website or through the schools.  Submit the completed form by February 20th to your school principal.
These youth will be recognized at a program entitled "Celebrating Youth, Celebrating Community"
on March 20thDistrict 112 Community Values are Generosity, Environmentalism, Citizen-ship, Human Worth and Dignity, Learning, Respect, Responsibility, and Integrity.

Victoria Community ExpoThe Victoria Chamber of Commerce and the City of Victoria are planning the 2006 Victoria Community Expo on Saturday, April 22nd, at the Victoria Field House from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The Expo will spotlight area businesses, organiza-tions, churches, municipalities, and schools to other businesses and the public.

Victoria Lions meet the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at the Victoria Hall on Rose Street at 6:30 p.m.

Victoria Chamber of Commerce meets on an irregular basis.

Victoria Senior Citizens meet weekly on Thursdays at the Acorn House in Diethelm Park.

Victoria City Council meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Victoria Hall on Rose Street.  There are also special council meetings and workshops scheduled throughout the year.

Victoria American Legion meets monthly.  Established in 1995.  Call Dan Steinhagen, Carver County Veterans Officer, for more information.

Victoria Toastmasters meet the second and fourth Thursdays at 7 p.m.
