We would like to take this opportun-ity to publicly thank the Victoria and Chaska Fire Departments.  Their rapid response to a recent fire at our home here in Victoria kept the fire damage to a mini-mum.  Their professionalism and concern for us and our home was very much appreciated.  Our communities are very fortunate to be served by such outstanding fire departments.

Thank you so much for the picture you put with Brian's obituary.  That was so nice.  I can't believe he's gone.  There was no warning, no clues.  They said it's possible a blood clot killed him instantly and he had congestive heart failure, COPD, sleep apnea, and the muscular dystrophy.
Do you think I could get a copy of that picture?  There's a couple of his friends that would like a picture of him and yours captures the real Brian.  Thank you.

To the Editor:
Greetings, Sue.  My mom told me that the Victoria Gazette had the obituary and picture of Brian Wynn but I can't find it on your website.  Can you help me?
I loved growing up in the Schutz Lake neighborhood of Victoria.  I have such fabulous memories, especially of our Fourth of July celebrations.  I often tell people about all those acres of parks, all the lakes and wildlife, and they can scarcely imagine what a great place it was to grow up.
I checked out a lot of the picture on your website.  Congratulations to Nick on his engagement.  They look really ador-able.  Take care.

To the Editor:
Good morning, Sue.  I found a hunter's knife in town yesterday.  It's only worth about $50, but it appears to be well used and well cared for, so it might have sentimental value to someone.  Is there a "Found" section of the Gazette?  The knife was found in Victoria on Wednes-day, May 9th, and it's a Ken Onion knife.  The owner should be able to easily des-cribe it to me.  My number is 952-465-6573.

Thank you for putting the Young Inventors Fair picture in the May issue of the Gazette.  I found the fishhook on page 45 in the Mother's Day card.  This was written by Conner.

To the Editor:
It's your "old" bowling partner, Mary Carse.  I think John and I were among those whose remittance envelope fell out of the paper in March.  We were in Texas that month, in Mission, not too far from your folks, and our mail was saved in a big bucket at the post office.  Thanks for the reminder in this month's paper.  The Gazette means even more to us now that we don't live in the area.  We like to keep up on everything and everyone.
Live is good in Belle Plaine.  Kelly, the last of our six, gets married June 16th.  The out of town ones will be home with their families and we can't wait to have everyone together.  Twenty-six total now.  (Plus one baby angel in heaven.)  Yikes!
We enjoyed seeing Nick's engage-ment in the Gazette.  Your family is growing as well.  How cute they are.  Take care.

To the Editor:
I should have sent you this patriotic card last month and wished a Happy Memorial Day to all of you.  Looks appropriate for the day even though I'm getting it late to you.  Have a great Mother's Day and splendid summer.  Your fishhook is on page 45 in the Leipold's ad.

To the Editor:
It can't possibly be true!  Three months in a row I have found the fish hook.  Either I am getting really good at it or you are making it way too easy to find.  I look forward to each month's edition of the Gazette.  Keep up the good work.

I'm sure having fun with the story you wrote.  You did a great job.  Thank you for asking.  It was so fun.
