To the Editor:
I regret to report the death of Karl Klatt early this morning, Sunday, May 13th.  He was the husband of Marjorie Goldschmidt Klatt.

To the Editor:
Our computer is on the blink so I have to do this the old fashioned way, by pen and paper.
Thanks for putting Rose's 96th birth-day picture in the Gazette.  Several people commented on it this morning.  It was such a wonderful time for her.  Thanks again.

To the Editor:
My ad looked great and I have received several compliments on it.  Thank you.  At our next Chamber of Commerce meeting we are going to be doing a mini-trade show on print media.  We would love to have you come and give us a brief presentation on the Gazette and be available to answer questions.
You put out a fine publication and I look forward to reading it every month.  I know the people of Victoria enjoy it as well.  Thank you for making it easy to advertise in the Gazette and for all your had work.
What did you think of the Town Hall Meeting on the Field House last night?

To the Editor:
Hi, Mom.  It was fun to look at Dad's birthday pictures online in Sue's Album.  When we got to the bottom of the page, Gunny said, "Let's do it again, Mom."  Your feature story was good and your editorial made me giggle several times.  First, at "Do I have a finger?"  Then when you wrote you "never imagined being married to a white-haired man."  It makes me laugh to write it now even.  Then, "Certainly not breathing heavily."  You are very funny.
I better go to sleep now.
Love,

To the Editor:
Read your long item last month regarding the Field House.  I did not say we needed to increase taxes.  I said we did not need to increase taxes but needed to get someone that could bring things together and pay them a good wage.  Please print a correction.  Thanks.

EDITOR'S NOTE:  If I misheard "would" for "wouldn't," I'm sorry.

To the Editor:
As you've likely heard, the U.S. Postal Service has unveiled comprehen-sive changes in the latest rate case, effective May 14th, 2007.  Depending on the class and format of your mail, the new rates and surcharges can have a significant impact on your postage costs.  While the myriad changes and rates are too numer-ous to detail here, we are submitting the general trends to you.

Sure have missed the Gazette.  My time is not my time anymore.  Can't catch up all the time.  We were so happy to see your mom and dad come home.

The ad looked great.  I am getting good comments back from the fine people of Victoria.  Even got a few phone calls.  It is great working with you.  I know I will see you soon.

Hi, Sue.  Your write-up in "From the Editor" last month was great.  Just keep it up.  Have a nice day.

To the Editor:
I want to thank you for the wonderful story on my mom, Ruth Johnson, and my Aunt Jean Johnson last month in "Almost Sisters."  My dad Jerry and Uncle Goody were great country musicians and singers, and I really miss them and their music.  It was fun to read about all of them and re-live those happy memories.  Thank you.
