Hi, Sue.  I decided that I need a hard copy of the Gazette!  We are really enjoy-ing St. Cloud but do miss Victoria.  We still have not found a replacement for the Victoria House, and we are not at all sure that this will be possible.
Loved your online road trip pictures.  Seems like a great way to see the country-side.  The bed and breakfast spots you stayed in looked like so much fun.  Also enjoyed your "bath house" pictures from Hot Springs.  We have driven by there on our trips to Hot Springs Village but have not had time to venture in yet.
Do take care, and I'll still visit your website but it will be great to hold that Gazette in my hand.

After 44 years of service to the citizens of Carver County, I've decided not to run for another term as Treasurer of Carver County.  It is time to turn the reins over to a new administration, with heart-felt thanks for all the years of confidence you, the citizens of Carver County, have shown to me.
I do hereby endorse and give my sup-port to Randy Eiden as the new Treasurer of Carver County.  I'm confident that Randy will continue to give the same great service and that he will uphold the dignity and efficiency of the Treasurer's Office.  My staff that has always served you faithfully would remain with Randy.

I deeply appreciate Mr. Dahlke's endorsement.  I value the tradition and reputation contributed to the office and county by Mr. Dahlke and his staff. 
I live in Dahlgren Township in a home built on the Eiden family farm, where my family, past and present, has lived for the past 140 years.  My wife Julie and I have three children, ages 6 to 15.  I possess a bachelor's degree in accounting and I earned my CPA.  I've worked for the last seven years in corporate accounting.  I am a VFW member and officer in the Knights of Columbus.  I would be proud to serve the fine citizens of Carver County as their County Treasurer.  I look forward to your support in the upcoming election.
