Barry Riesgraf Favorite books or authors. Gary Paulson, Louis Lamour. Famous people. Jesse James, because he lived the ultimate life. Dale Earnhardt, because he did what he loved and was a hell of a driver. Best teachers. Mr. Dennis Bjorklund is one of the best because he doesn't just teach stuff in books. He teaches you how it applies to the real world that all of the other teachers just talk about. Mr. Winn is a great teacher because he said that no matter what, you can always choose your attitude. He allowed us to be interested in what he was teaching. My parents. My mom taught me to always strive for the things I want. She taught me that hard work will always pay off in the end. Three wishes. Happiness, success, and health. Vikings and Twins. No, it is not important that Minnesota keep them. No, I would not like to help pay for a new stadium. I don't like team sports. Future plans. University of North Dakota. Major in Business. Parents. Debby and Darryl Wrolson.
Michelle VanEyll Favorite books or authors. The First Four Minutes. A Boy Called IT. Famous people. Princess Diana had so much strength and dedication to the people and seemed like a perfect role model to lead people into new ideas. Best teachers. Mr. Renard, my eighth grade Health/Gym Class and substitute teacher off and on through high school, was the best teacher because he pushed our goals and got us thinking outside the everyday classroom setting. He also was extremely dedicated to his students and got to know everyone. He does a lot of the school sports, too, so if he wasn't running the time clock he would be in the benches watching. Overall he really made me feel like he cared a lot about where I was going in life. Mrs. Jones was a very fun fourth grade teacher who loved kids. She would reward us for our hard work by going outside and having a four-square tournament. She and I were pen pals for about four years after that, and we kept in touch. My parents. I learned how to work towards goals, and that sometimes it's a long road to get to those goals but it's well worth it. I also learned that nothing is stronger than a family. Family will be there through everything and will always be ready with a helping hand if I need it. Lastly, I learned to never settle for anything less; if I know I can do more I will be trying to get it to be the best. Three wishes. I wish I could be camping a lot more. I wish that I become a good person in the medical field. I wish I could finally find the car I want and could afford it. Vikings and Twins. I think keeping sports teams in Minnesota is important for entertainment. It's important to be able to see the games in a home-state setting, but I don't think we need a stadium like they have in mind. I wouldn't mind helping pay to update the new one but there are more places and things that need the money more. Future plans. Hennepin Tech College in Eden Prairie. Become an LPN, then a physician assistant working in pediatrics. Parents. Diane VanEyll.
Abby Welch Favorite books or authors. Tuesdays with Morrie, James Patterson. Famous people. Mayor Rudy Giulianni because he pulled the City of New York together after 9/11. Best teachers. One of my high school teachers, Mr. Machtemes, was my favorite. I learned a lot and he made the class fun and interesting. My parents. I have learned how to manage my time with studying and other activities. I have also learned to be myself and make decisions that are right for me. Three wishes. I would love to travel to many places without having to worry about money or time. Also, I would like my friends, family, and myself to always be healthy and happy. Vikings and Twins. They are im-portant to Minnesota. If the stadium is necessary, I would contribute money to support the sports in the community. Future plans. University of Wisconsin, Madison. Undecided in major and occupation. Parents. Rob and Mary Welch, Micky and Tom Powers.
Eric Chinnock Favorite books or authors. Catch 22, Catcher in the Rye. Famous people. My famous role model would be Theodore Roosevelt. I agree with his ideas of creating national parks. I also admire his ability to take control of the office and make the most of it. Best teachers. Mr. Powell was able to connect with every student and entertain as he taught. Mr. Finnegan had read hundreds of books and understood the books to very deep meanings. My parents. I learned from them that hard work pays off, that your family is always there for you regardless of what happens, and it's important to have fun. Three wishes. If I had three wishes they would be 1) peace throughout mankind, 2) elimination of poverty, and 3) eternal life for all. Vikings and Twins. Yes, it's important that Minnesota keep them. Yes, I'd like to help pay for a new stadium. It appears that the citizens of Minnesota are going to have to put money forward in order to keep both teams in Minnesota. Future plans. University of Wisconsin, Madison. Major in Engineering and work as an engineer. Parents. Robert and Rorie Chinnock.
