Victoria Bloodmobile. The next blood drive in Victoria will be held on Monday, January 22nd, at the Victoria Field House from 12:30 noon to 6:30 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome. Victoria Ice Fishing Contest. The 20th Annual Victoria Firefighters Relief Association Fishing Contest will be held on Sunday, February 4th, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Stieger Lake in Victoria. Food and beverages will be sold. Great prizes will be given for large predator and panfish. Many prizes will be raffled that day from area businesses.

Winter Open House. All families inter-ested in learning more about Holy Family Catholic High School in Victoria are encouraged to attend our Winter Open House on Tuesday, January 9th, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Open houses allow parents and stu-dents the opportunity to learn more about the curriculum, extra-curricular activities, and the environment enhanced by the integration of our faith-based education program, all while offering open facilities, staff interaction, and presentations by students and administration members. Victoria Senior Citizens meet weekly on Thursdays at the Acorn House in Diethelm Park.
Victoria City Council meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Victoria Hall on Rose Street. There are also special council meetings and workshops scheduled throughout the year.
