To the Editor: I'm interning for a company and we are looking to expand into the South Metro Area. I'm looking for some adver-tising options we could use. I was hoping to get some information about the Victoria Gazette. Also, if you know of any local radio stations, that may be good for adver-tising, that would help me out a lot. Sarah Vogt Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Just thought I would drop you a note about my new website. You can find it at www.RunningWConcessions.com. Thanks again for the nice article you wrote about me last summer. Hope to see you again this summer at the Victoria Lions Tournament Weekend. "Darling" Darlene Wedin Rockford, Minnesota
To the Editor: I am the designated PR and Commu-nications Link for the Lake Virginia Activists group, who live on Lake Virginia. Your story in the Gazette was one of the triggers that helped us get together as a group, to see if we can accomplish what we have been working for, on and off, for over 15 years. In reading your article, I could not tell whether or not you would be in favor of expanding the channel opening or not. That is what a good journalist should do, not give a biased opinion. We, or at least 80% of us, do want to have a larger culvert/bridge, so we can have more recreational space available to us. Will you please reply and indicate if it is possible we can get together? I am available most days. Thanks. Al Grannes Shorewood, Minnesota
To the Editor: I am the secretary for the American Red Cross, Carver County Chapter. The chapter board would like to announce up-coming meetings in the local newspapers. We will have six regular meetings and one annual meeting in 2006. I am contacting you to see what options you have for free listings. I would also like to know what options you have for paid advertisements in the event we have special events or fundraisers. Please include the format you prefer, character limitations, and any other information I may need to know. Thank you. Johanna Buckentin Carver County, Minnesota
To the Editor: Hi, Sue. Great article on Watermark in the January Gazette. Wondering if we need to do anything to get the Parade of Homes entries in your newspaper. Debby [Hartman Wrolson] showed me what you did last year and she wanted to make sure that Watermark entries will be included. If you need anything, please let me know. To the Editor: Tim Koehnen was so happy that you published the photo of him and his wife and newborn daughter in your December issue of the Gazette. Many of his old friends stopped by to see him and his family. All of the Koehnen family were at the Lake Auburn Moravian Church for Christmas Eve Services. All of Tim's five kids were dressed in Santa suits and they were very cute. LeRoy Miller was an usher that night and one of Tim's kids took quite a liking to Lee so that he was in Lee's arms when he took the offering up to Pastor Frank. Uncle Ron Holtmeier Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Happy Valentine's Day. February is here and I couldn't believe how many ads around New Year's Eve already had Valentine items, even candy. In July I've seen ads for Christmas things. Years ago those things always were advertised during their season. This year there were Valentine items among the 50 to 75% off sales on Christmas items. They're crazy! On the lighter side, I saw the fish-hook hidden on page 2 of your January Gazette in the Leipold ad. Thanks for the prize last month. I couldn't believe I won. Kay Meuwissen Chaska, Minnesota
To the Editor: I never got to meet you, but you sure are a popular editor, and you always do a fantastic job with the Gazette. Keep up the good work. The fishhook is on page 2 by the lamp in Leipold's ad. Have a nice day. Blessings to you. Marie Otten Waconia, Minnesota
To the Editor: About time I send in my "dues." We are still enjoying the Gazette and are getting to know your community by way of your great paper. Keep up the good work. Betty Ann Gits, CSJ St. Paul, Minnesota Click here for more letters.
