"Letters Feb. '05" continued

more troubled by the nature of the decision-making process.  I hope the lack of sensitivity and poor, impersonal communication that I felt displayed toward me is never dis-played toward the general public.  Surely you understand how this approach might adversely reflect on you.
I can assure all that I will continue to follow the affairs of the Victoria Planning Commission with great interest.  In fact, due to my improving health I probably will be more visible and vocal than ever.  I can assure you I really care about Vic-toria.

To the Editor:
I showed Davey your comment (that he's too young to have white hair) and he said he thinks he looks sophisticated.  En-closed is the ad we'd like to run in the February issue of the Gazette.

To the Editor:
Hi, Sue.  Thanks for telling me about your website.  I already checked out your grandchildren and your trips to see Father Elstan and President Bush in Chanhassen.  You did a great job on all of it and I look forward to looking at the rest.  I also checked your home that looks like a winter wonderland in Sue's Album.
Love,

To the Editor:
Hi, Sue.  Debra and Grant Peterson sent me a note with their utility bill saying that they would like to receive the news-paper.  I am passing this information on to you, if you would like to contact them.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Thank you, Peter, for passing on the note.  I hope Victoria people will also look in their phone directories or on the internet for the newspaper that might be the closest and the mostest to them. ~Sue

To the Editor:
The butterfly on this card is symbolic of new beginnings.  I am looking forward to partnering with you and the Victoria Gazette as Klein Bank reaches new heights.

EDITOR'S NOTE:  Hi, Kathy.  Thanks for lunch at the Victoria House.  And I love all those beautiful pencils.

To the Editor:
On behalf of the American Red Cross, the community of Victoria is to be commended for the dedication and volun-teerism shown toward the blood drive held on January 24th.  A total of 103 caring people showed up to donate 86 pints of blood.  Thank you for giving a small part of yourself to help those in need, especially now when there is a critical shortage.
Special thanks to our recruitment callers, those who helped with publicity, those who helped the day of the draw, the City of Victoria for use of the Hall, and the Victoria Lions for continuing to sponsor and support the blood drive.
We like to especially thank first time donors and those who reach milestones.  First time donors:  Jennifer Range and Kristopher Griese.  2 gallons, Kimberly Laggard; 3 gallons, Darlene Peterson and Angela Schwalbe; 4 gallons, Maurice Leuthner; 5 gallons, Dennis Bjorkland.  6 gallons, David Kirsch; 7 gallons, Jerry Schmieg; 15 gallons, Sam Ische.
The community of Victoria can be proud that so many neighbors and friends gave blood, especially those who donated without being contacted.

To the Editor:
Please convey a message of gratitude for me.  I sincerely thank all who sent me cards and gifts for my birthday and for Christmas.  Your generosity is over-whelming.  I pray that the Lord bless you and your families.  I never find the fish-hook but Kay Meuwissen always finds it.

To the Editor:
Hi, Sue.  I don't know what I did with the last issue of the Victoria Gazette that had the "Eclectic Email" about Jesus was a Black, a Jew, a Woman.  I would like you to email a copy of it to me.  I would like to have it in time for this Saturday night banquet.  Thank you.

To the Editor:
I am inquiring as to whether you have a business announcement section for which you like to receive business announcements.  I do business with several people in Victoria and have an announcement/press release of an award received that I would like to put in the paper, if you have a business community service section for which you like entries submitted.  Do you have this?  Thank you very much for your time.

To the Editor:
Senator Julianne Ortman appreciates your willingness to get the word out about the important works she's done and is doing at the Minnesota State Capitol.  She hopes to gain input and insight from read-ers of the Victoria Gazette in response to her article this month which, by the way, the Senator has drafted and edited exclu-sively for the Gazette.
Have a great afternoon.
