To the Editor: The Chaska Valley Family Theatre is excited to announce its Winter 2003 production of Peter Pan, starring Victoria's own Diane Koban in the title role. Her daughter Hannah is joining her as one of the Neverlander children. They are joined by numerous other cast members to bring this fantasy alive with spectacular dance and music along with fantastic special effects provided by the technical crew. You are invited to join the magic of Never-Never-Land where the children's motto is "I'll never grow up," and children really can fly. Chaska Valley Family Theatre rented the same rig that flew Cathy Rigby when she starred as Peter Pan in Las Vegas. Show dates and times: Feb. 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 at 7 p.m. and Feb. 22, 23, at 2 p.m. at the Chaska Community Center Theater. Visit www.cvft.org or call 952-440-6449. See you in choir, Sue. Meg Smith

PHOTO Hungarian Rhapsody Continued. A group of people from Waterbrooke Fellowship in Victoria traveled to Hungary this past November where they visited a Gypsy orphanage, country slums, homes without plumbing and kitchens, and gave their personal faith testimonies. Pictured above (l-r) are Emery Eaton, 12, and his mother Gina Eaton from Waterbrooke Fellowship, Gypsy Pastor Jozsef Lajos, Dana Brumitt from Waterbrooke Fellowship, and Carol Greathouse, an American missionary, in front of an abandoned school that the pastor wants converted into a health clinic and church for the Gypsies. Read the Hungary Rhapsody by Gina Eaton on page 25 in the issue of the Gazette.
PHOTO To the Editor: Attached is a photo of our granddaughter Elissa and a note she e-mailed with it from down south. "My first riding lesson since break was good, even though it was so cold out that my feet started to go numb. Sandra, my coach, said I rode well despite that. I'm nervous for my lesson tomorrow though because she is going to put me on a different horse. I usually ride Tinkerbelle but not tomorrow. Oh, well. I guess change is good once in a while. I'm sending you a picture of me and Tinkerbelle." Thanks. Ron Holtmeier Victoria, Minnesota
