More Feb. 2003 Letters to the Editor

To the Editor:
Thanks for the swell, newsy, good readin' paper.  I sure was surprised to find the fishhook so quickly this time.  I see it on page 7 in the birdy's wing.  If your person who draws for this month's winner should pick me, just extend my subscrip-tion, okay?  Happy New Year and God bless each and every one of you.
Love,
Joanie, Usta be from Colognie

To the Editor:
Thank you for daring to expound your values in your recent editorial of January, 2003.  I'm especially in favor of #3 and #10.  When we cast aside the foundations of our God-fearing country, we're in trouble.
Love your newspaper.  I read it from cover to cover.  I personally feel that a lot of gutless people are addressing us from the pulpit.  I'll say a prayer for your coming endeavors, and thanks.
A fan,
Carmen Doughty, Excelsior, Minnesota

To the Editor:
Hi, Sue.  Here is Jerry Noreen's address at Willow River, Minnesota.  Thank you very much for sending him the Gazette.  He really misses Victoria.  I know he'll like being caught up on what's happening here.  Thanks again.
Cindy Worm, Victoria, Minnesota

To the Editor:
Thanks for giving us Father Elstan Coghill's new address and phone number.  Nothing new otherwise.  I'm sending a check to renew our subscription to the Victoria Gazette.  It was good talking to you as well.  Take care.  God's love and blessing to you and your family.

To the Editor:
Thank you so much for the article and pictures in the January Gazette.  I was overwhelmed by the magnitude of the coverage you gave to me for being mayor.  I truly appreciate your kind and generous words.  The January edition is a great gift to me and my family.
I have loved being the mayor and serving the people of Victoria.  I have met so many fantastic people and made won-derful friends.
Sue, your writing and your paper have been such valuable communication tools for the residents of Victoria.  Any-one who wants to know what is happen-ing in local government, events, special human interest stories, and local business-es and services has it at their fingertips every month -- The Victoria Gazette!
I know you care deeply for your town and all residents.  It shows so much in your front page stories and throughout the paper.  Thank you for all your friendship the past eight years.  I admire you greatly and look forward to a lifetime of fun and laughter with you.
See ya for lunch.
Love,
Mary Meuwissen, Victoria, Minnesota

To the Editor:
You are a heartwarming experience.  Keep up the good work on the Gazette.  The fishhook is on page 7 in the wing.

To the Editor:
Lent is around the corner, so the Puddy Tat won't get to eat no Tweety Bird, but he can go fish if he wants to.  He has to look on page 7 in the Victoria Gazette for the fishhook.
Thanks, everyone, who came to the Chaska Legion Chop and Kraut Dinner.  Happy Valentine's Day.  Watch your feet when you go ice fishing.  You might get soggy socks or a boot full of lake water.
Kay Meuwissen, Chaska, Minnesota

To the Editor:
Went nuts looking for the fishhook in the December issue.  The fishhook in the January issue is on page 7 in the dove's wing.  Clara and I really enjoy the paper.  Keep up the excellent work.
Lenny Laxen, Chaska, Minnesota

To the Editor:
Hello, Sue.  It's time to think about spring and girls' softball.  We will again be offering two programs this year.  The Travel program for those young ladies interested in playing at the higher level against teams from other towns in the metro area, and the In-House program for those young ladies interested in playing community teams from Chanhassen, Carver, Chaska, and Victoria.
It is at this time that we will begin the application process for the Travel segment of girls' summer softball.  I have enclosed the application for Travel Ball.  Would you please run it in your February issue?  Thank you.
Also, would you please update our listing on your back page to read, "Contact Nancy Bruers," deleting reference to Kevin Krause who left our board this January.  Thank you.
