Victoria's Advent Christmas Concert.  This 11^th annual concert featuring the St. Victoria Adult Choir will be held on Sunday, December 9^th, at 5:00 p.m. at the (new) St. Victoria Catholic Church in Victoria.  Theme of the evening is "Shine the Light of Your Love."  Admission is free.  A cake and coffee reception will follow.

Victoria Lions Christmas Party.  The annual Victoria Lions Christmas Party, to which all spouses are invited, will be held on Friday evening, December 7^th, at the Village Hall on Rose Street.

Nordic Heritage Club will meet at the Acorn House in Victoria on Friday, December 14^th, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.  This meeting will feature the preparation of Krumkake, a Swedish crumb cake usually made at Christmas time.  Purpose of the Club is to promote Scandinavian Heritage, including folks from Iceland, Greenland, Faroe Islands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Aland, and Findland.  Anyone who has an interest in Scandinavia can join.  Call Ron Holtmeier at 952-443-2061 for more information.

Victoria City Council Meetings.  Upcoming city council meetings are scheduled for Thursday, December 13^th, and Thursday, December 27^th.  They begin at 6:30 p.m.

Victoria Lions meet the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at the Victoria Hall on Rose Street at 6:30 p.m.

Victoria Chamber of Commerce meets on an irregular basis.

Victoria Senior Citizens meet weekly on Thursdays at the Acorn House in Diethelm Park.

Victoria City Council meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Victoria Hall on Rose Street.  There are also special council meetings and workshops scheduled throughout the year.

Victoria Toastmasters meet the second and fourth Thursdays at 7:00 p.m.
