To the Editor:
Merry Christmas to you and the Norgaard and Orsen clans and the fans of the Victoria Gazette clan.  The Gazette Groupies!!
Christmas is upon us.  Santa is get-ting ready to fly out and about.  I can still remember my mom for many years por-trayed a lady Santa.  Yep, there was a Rosie Claus in Chaska between the 1960's and 1980's.  To have a more macho Santa, Ma would wear some of Dad's Old Spice or Brut 33 or Stetson.
She made a Santa suit out of a pajama pattern and had a blast.  Always Ma came home with rosy cheeks, treats, giggling, and a mound of cards taboot.  A lot of those kids are in their 50's now.
One Christmas here at Talheim Apartments, a granny came in the lobby to wait for her family to take her out to eat.  She had a pin on her sweater that was sup-posed to read, "HO, HO, HO."  She had it backwards on her sweater and it said, "OH, OH, OH."  We laughed and she couldn't see what was so funny.  When her daughter came in, she laughed too.
I've seen a lot of funny happenings with the grannies at Talheim in the last ten years here.  They always reminisce about mischief when they were kids
- outhouse adventures and Halloween gags.  Many Saturday or Sunday afternoon chats here turn into giggle parties.  Often I've had sore ribs from laughing.
With cold weather approaching we'll get visits from Art Ritis, Ben Gay, and Ty Lenol.  They visit too often.  Tough get-ting old.

We have not received an issue of the Gazette for a while.  Our subscription was paid in March.  I previously requested that you send one copy because you were sending two.  Now it appears that you have removed us entirely from your mail-ing list.  Please call me if you have ques-tions on resolving this issue.  Thank you.

To the Editor:
I am writing to let you know that I have taken over the supervisor position at Lowry Nature Center from Karen Davis.  She transferred to another location within our Park District.  She tells me that she had occasionally written pieces to be included in your newspaper.  While I missed your November deadline, I would like to be informed of future deadlines in hopes of possibly writing short pieces about happenings here at Carver Park.

To the Editor:
Thanks so much for the wonderful story in the November Gazette.  I think you did a very nice job.  A friend of my parents who lives in Victoria was sur-prised to see it.  She knew some details of our lives but called to tell my mom, to tell her she was in tears when she read it.  The kids, of course, were completely tickled.

To the Editor:
Hola, Madre.  The paper looks good online.  The editorial was also good as usual.  Let's play it by ear on Sunday.  We are thinking of stopping by on Saturday afternoon before we go to the Chan Dinner Theater.  Dad wanted help moving the deck furniture also.  Not sure if we will be in the mode to get up and drive back to Victoria on Sunday morning.  I might have plans to watch football with the guys also.  Talk to you later.

To the Editor:
As a railroad buff, I greatly enjoyed your article in the November Gazette about the railroad that once was part of Victoria's life.  Do you know why they destroyed the old depot building?  I do recall seeing Bill Maple doing a lot of repair work on it.  It looked great with a new roof and paint, and then it was gone.  What a neat keepsake it would have  been had someone had enough foresight to have kept it.
Thank you for publishing my article about the visitors from Sweden, and my own byline too!  You continue to be Vic-toria's greatest sweetie pie.

EDITOR'S NOTE:  I'm thinking the depot was located on property by Stieger Lake that went to the Park District and maybe it was the Park that got rid of it.
