Are you hooked on Christmas?  Me, too.  It's the most wonderful time of the year.  It softens eyes and hearts and puts mellow into lives for a while.  I look forward to Jimmy Stewart in "It's a Wonderful Life" and Ralphie in "A Christmas Story."  I also get easily lost in "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" and "Frosty the Snowman."
In the meantime, there's nothing mellow about getting another newspaper out onto the streets.  But now that I've hidden the fishhook, it's almost a done deal.  There's no place to hide a fishhook until the pages are put together!
Shirley Anderson of Mound is the newest winner of this little contest.  She found it on the wings of the angel on page 20 in the November issue of the Gazette.  Congratulations, Shirley.  The ten bucks will be winging its way to you very soon
- in time to buy a stocking stuffer.  I think you are the person who owns the V&S Jewelry Store in Mound.
If all you elves and elvies want your name dropped into the minnow bucket for the Christmas drawing, just find the fish-hook hidden in this issue of the Gazette, drop a line to P.O. Box 387, Victoria, MN 55386 and sinker in the mail.
Then we've got to get ready for Christmas because it's almost here.  We've got to clean our chimneys and roast our chestnuts.  We've got to set out the cookies, jingle our bells, and put a little mellow into our lives!
