To the Editor: Your pictures and story in the November Gazette are wonderful. Feel like we just relived our trip to Italy - and saw things we already forgot. I think we should take a reporter on all of our trips. Sheila and Ely Fishlowitz Silver Spring, Maryland
To the Editor: Hi, Sue. That was a great travelogue you did of our trip to Italy. Your very good notes on all the sights is a great help to me in identifying some of my own shots that I failed to write down details. Don Whitney Springfield, Vermont
To the Editor: For the record, I made the following points regarding the choice of a planning consultant at this time, to update the City of Victoria's Comprehensive Plan to the year 2030. In general, I took exception to the "You shoot 'em, we skin 'em" approach to city governance. There are 180+ government agencies doing comprehensive plans at this time. All these government agencies must draw from a finite consultant pool in the Twin Cities. Victoria's experience in sending out 30 RFP's and getting only four res-pondents is proof positive of this problem. The selection of this consultant is a very important one, and this council has only eight weeks remaining. The new council must work with this consultant for years. Finally, what is a few weeks when the Met Council is going to get 180 reports? Is it so bad to take a little more time on such an intense and important issue? I don't think so. Jim Paulsen Victoria City Councilmember-Elect Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Thank you for the birthday card and the contents in it. It was one of my best birthdays. It was a good day that every friend and family member made it that way. Mary from the Oakridge Conference Center called to say that the ad looked very good. She also wanted to get two more Gazettes. Will you put them in the box and I will pick them up in a day or two. Kathy Kraemer Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: I write to the sounds of fireworks as today is Guy Fawkes Day in Great Britain, a real harbinger of winter. Hard to believe that four weeks ago we were trying to keep out of the Italian sun! Thank you, Sue. The whole tour looks magnificent on your website. I hope to meet up with you again. Thank you for your unfailing good humor and sunny disposition. Much love, Mhairi Maclaren Scotland, UK
To the Editor: Your pictures were great. Thank you for putting them online. While I realize we were all in the same place, it is amaz-ing how many of your pictures were iden-tical to mine. Dick Quinn Verona, New Jersey
To the Editor: Hi, Sue. Hope all is well with you. I loved reading about your trip to Italy. Let's get together. We can wine and dine Italian style. Mary Meuwissen Watertown, Minnesota
To the Editor: Thank you. Thank you. Thank you a million times for the wonderful photos of our Italian trip. You camera and photo skills are so superior to mine. I plan on printing many of yours for my album. It was so nice meeting you and Allan. Your Gazette is wonderful. I hope you have many more wonderful trips like this one - without the lost luggage, that is. What a wonderful group and vacation this was. Irene Niles Racine, Wisconsin
To the Editor: I would like to thank all my friends and neighbors for their cards, prayers, and support during my recent illness. I appre-ciate all you have done. Bert Schmieg Victoria, Minnesota
